I’m pretty sure it’s their plan this year to play Embiid as little as possible to save him for the playoffs. That’s what he even said. I think that’s what this is.

The Spurs get all the French studs. The Knicks always end up with the French scrubs.

It’s probably true though. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was healthy for the playoffs.

You mean he'll be healthy for the first 5 minutes of game 1 in the first round?

J/K, they'll be a play-in team.

That mfer scored 50 points after downing Mitch. That "injured" refrain was tired AF.

I'm not a ref conspiracy theorist, but he got so much help from the refs that day...it's kinda hard not to wonder. Not getting ejected, 21 free throws, trying to hurt other players in addition to our best defender against him in Mitch. Those were some of the cheapest 50 points I've ever seen.

Oh and then the Sixers fans accuse Brunson of flopping

Pretty sure the Knicks FO didn't want to be in a first round pick guaranteed salary but Pac kinda forced their hand to do it and if they intended to roster a first round pick guy it would have been a different player like Dunn or someone else.

Although, in that scenario the other player doesn't sign for less like Pac did and the Knicks might not have the room for the KAT deal with as close to the 2nd apron as they operated at. It may turn out to be a bad move for the pick but not for the trade depending on how it all works out.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

it is. they already announced that he won't play back to backs, he said he's not planning to be eligible for any personal awards. supposedly he lost a lot of weight. will this allow him to he be healthy in the playoffs ? who knows but they're doing things differently this year.

Damn, I kinda wanted him because of his defense but his shooting was horrid. WTF happened. Durant gave him a secret elixir?!

It may be a fluke, he hasn't been making his freethrows, he's shooting 44.4% from three on 6.8 attempts per game and 50% from the line. If it's not a fluke though he's going to be a major part of their rotation.

Thanks for reminding me that his FTs were sh.it which correlates to his shooting. That was one of the reason why I saw him as a less talented Ben Simmons.
