Edey looks strong, especially his legs, but he appears weak in play. They are pushing him around easily imo. He’s so big, but he’s having trouble moving anybody and that’s bigs or sf. He’s struggling getting position. I will say, his presence is creating space. He is getting inside but as soon as the ball gets near him they push him out. They are having trouble getting it in to him and that’s not really his fault FWIW.
Oops wrong thread. I’m just going to leave it here though.
Well, after this comment he started cooking. He can’t move anyone but he has footwork. Excellent.
He’s going to cook with Ja (needs a PG and someone to move the D) because he started cooking when that little guy started playing, well i didn’t see him in there til that first Edey bucket. Just found the lil guy is Kawamura.
Edey is defending the small guys well enough, the shots they are making is when he has to help or they shoot over his good D. He’ll probably be top 5 D big in a couple years if he builds off of that. Kinda in the mold of Rudy G. His hook is killer!! He’s hooking over Turner like he’s not there but he can’t push Turner.
Really good at getting position before the ball gets there because he can’t back them down much. Smart to do his work early with knowing where to be. CP3 and Rondo could get 10 assist from him alone per game. He’s doing all this when they act like they can’t see or get the ball into him at times.
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)
