Knicks should have Hart running baseline so defense either turn their heads to see where he is or he gets a pass at the basket to finish, no reason for him to be spotting up at the top, plus this lets him to be in position to crash the basket for obounds.

I just don't think that Sims is an NBA player. Harsh i know but I have seen nothing that says to me he can be a plus contributor.

Thibs keeps saying after every game how well he did. I think Thibs has a weird relationship with Sims - maybe he wants to get a hair transplant from the guy! How else could he say good stuff about him, and add Ariel only as an afterthought? Ariel is clearly better than him after only SL and 3 preseason games.
Spoiler:
One possibility is he's doing what he's done before - praising a guy in the hopes of giving him trade value. Remember, he never said McBride was the one of Grimes, Quick, and him that he really wanted to keep.

By far the best capture of what was said:

He said let something like Daddy runs the show and Rick Brunson said Im gonna let you live lol

He and OG are winning players that make efficient winning plays on both ends. That's why I'd rather have Bridges and/or OG rather than a guy like PG13.

Add Hart and Brunson to those two and you got four guys that will do anything to get the W. Anything.

KAT might be one of those guys as well but jury is still out.

Yeah I don't think there is a single perimeter defender in the league that can guard brunson 1 on 1 without interior help...but with KAT stretching the floor something has got to give.

Tbh, Ant-Man stopped him 1-on-1 while clapping, hooting, hollering, and flexing.

I tried to find each play where Ant was the primary defender on Brunson.

This is the play where Ant was being extra...

And Ant stopped Brunson here too...

But what about these plays where Edwards was guarding Brunson? :o

No one can contain Brunson 1-on-1 for any more than a few plays

Why would Donte say this is what happens when they let you run things to Rick though? Rick isn't running shyt? This makes zero sense now.

Ofc he isn't but he is on the staff and white donte wanted to talk a lil sht to someone. Honestly appears that papa Brunson has thin skin.
He is the father of the star. He is best friends with Rosw who is his star's boss. Rick aint just happy to be there.

AE is quickly becoming one of the more unlikable players in the league with his attitude and antics.

It's one thing to have supreme confidence in yourself and show it but when your clapping and hollering like you've done something in a preseason game yet the guy still got off the shot cleanly, he just missed it. Then, while you're flexing instead of rebounding you give up the board which the extra possession gets a bucket, it shows he still needs to mature quite a bit.

Even Divo treating the preseason game like a playoff one while the Knicks shrugging at it as the preseason game it is. We all know the type of headcase Randle is so there's that.

It just makes me so grateful to have the relatively stoic Brunson as the leader of the Knicks plus they have added some more level headed guys in OG and MB, even KAT is pretty even keeled.

Although, now it looks like the Wolves have added more emotional players to an already unstable core and will they be able to stay on task for the durations of a long playoff season in the tough west.

If I'm not mistaken, JB and Ant are cool from their time with Team USA. That was more of him messing with Brunson than anything malicious

I think Ant has a lot of growing to do maturity wise. A lot. but I didn't think that was anything out of pocket. He was chopping it up with Karl before the game and it was all love from what I saw.

It’s crazy you say this, bc he’s quickly becoming more of the more likable players in my book. Emotional is a wild conclusion to get to given the circumstances here bc these guys aren’t robots. In a real basketball team environment players talk in all manners. They pop shyt, they encourage their teammates, they make statements to get into others heads. It’s a mental game too. The Wolves have added Dogs to their squad, and AE is a DAWG! You need those.

AE did a LOT of growing up this past summer. Learning from the OGs like Lebron and KD is a great finishing school.

I prefer Brunson's demeanor to AE, you can like whatever you want. Brunson is as much of a dawg as there is in the league and I like dawgs to bite hard, not bark loudly but you do you.

I'm used to seeing Hart go coast to coast in transition for a bucket at least once a game and it's noticeably absent this preseason so far.

Although, it could partly because he's not going all out in preseason but it also could be that we've seen MB get out on the break ahead of the pack a few times a game so he's taking those passes from Hart he'd normally finish by himself.

It's kinda nice the Knicks have a dangerous running game with someone who beats everyone down the court which the Knicks sorely missed after Obi left but at least this guy plays defense and can hit a 3 pointer.
