It's one thing to have supreme confidence in yourself and show it but when your clapping and hollering like you've done something in a preseason game but the guy still got off the shot cleanly, he just missed it. Then, while you're flexing instead of rebounding you give up the board which the extra possession gets a bucket, it shows he still needs to mature quite a bit.

Even Divo treating the preseason game like a playoff one while the Knicks shrugging at it as the preseason game it is. We all know the type of headcase Randle is so there's that.

It just makes me so grateful to have the relatively stoic Brunson as the leader of the Knicks plus they have added some more level headed guys in OG and MB, even KAT is pretty even keeled.

Although, now it looks like the Wolves have added more emotional players to an already unstable core and will they be able to stay on task for the durations of a long playoff season in the tough west.

It’s crazy you say this, bc he’s quickly becoming more of the more likable players in my book. Emotional is a wild conclusion to get to given the circumstances here bc these guys aren’t robots. In a real basketball team environment players talk in all manners. They pop shyt, they encourage their teammates, they make statements to get into others heads. It’s a mental game too. The Wolves have added Dogs to their squad, and AE is a DAWG! You need those.

Edwards is a funny dude.

That take you quoted is awful.

I already saw this was the trend in Minny when someone posted a practice video of Randle joking around with his new teammates like they were high school kids. It is going to be a goofy squad.
I'll never forget Covid Gobert. He's a fool too.

No clue who that guy is. Not any of the main assistances, anyway. Dude rolled up to Randle like he owed him money.

OG there trying to keep things calm

I am a little late to the party, but this game had me hyped up.
Our starting 5 is so crazy talented and balanced. two of Brunson/OG/Mikal/Towns should be on the floor at all times.

oh and ANT! god damn.

29-34 FT as a team this game = 85.3% would like to see that all year.

This preseason Knicks are:

6th in FTA (28.3)
1st in FT% (83.5%.)

This team left so many points at the stripe last year. So many close losses would have been W's if we simply hit our free throws

you can trade Hart, Achiuwa and Mitch if they continue to be MKG, Evans and Ben Wallace on offense

but if Mikal doesnt fix his shooting mechanics we are doomed

Right? This was just trash talk, not even bad, and people are going crazy. I heard far worse in the early days of Xbox Live on a nightly basis coming from 13 year old kids. Come on fellas.

yeah i'm with you and synciere. for all the comparisons to mj and associations with his mean-spirited character in that adam sandler movie, the real anthony edwards seems to be a guy who is always smiling and making the guys around him look like they're having fun. i dig that in a supremely confident superstar with healthy competitive aggression over the stereotypical sociopathic personality mj/kobe popularized

I'd rather have Brunson's attitude for a player leading my team, that's just the way it is but people will twist stuff into what they want to believe was said....corny.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

It's preseason, I'll start worrying if about 1/3 into the regular season - he's still shooting like this. For now, I'm not worried.
