That lineup needs another ball handler/facilitator.
The Warriors should've traded anyone of Kuminga, Podzeimski, Wiggins, Looney, and/or Payton for Towns and signed Fultz on the cheap to be a tall, defensive, athletic, facilitating foil to Curry in the backcourt.

why? there are already two in that lineup with Steph/Dray, maybe even 3 if Joku continues to progress in that department. i don't see the need for another ball handler in there.
even in the original death lineup the ball handlers were primarily Iggy/Dray, while Steph/Klay/Barnes were off-ball. you're essentially just keeping the ball in Steph's hands instead of Iggy and replacing Barnes with Wiggy and Klay with Moody.

Best defensive small lineup filled with 3P shooters (Dray is not bad open) and Melton can do some ball handling (and Moses a bit). Heck even Wiggins can bring the ball up if Curry is being swarmed.

Why? What does he bring to the table better than Looney or SloMo? He's in good favor with fans because he scratched an itch due to poor scoring last year and was part of a very mediocre defense.. he's as expendable as it gets and is one of few cheap players that could realistically be dealt in a consolidation trade

FIne, I'm fine swapping out TJD for Loon. I prefer TJD's vertical spacing and rim protection but Loon has a better track record defending away from the rim.

i don't understand this sentiment, we didn't require any ball moving or facilitation from Klay or Wiggy, Moody slots in perfectly in this capacity theoretically as a 3+D guy. out of everyone on the roster it seems to me that Moody fits the Klay role best. and i'm not even talking about prime Klay but even 2022 Klay would be enough.

To me, that clearly should be Trayce, GP2, Waters at this point. Nothing against them, but they can provide perfect depth if anyone is out or in foul trouble while the other 10 are the "main" rotation.
I like all these 10 players (and the 3 above), so whatever lineups and rotations gets to a minutes breakdown of this I'd love:
Steph - 28
Kuminga - 28
Dray - 26
Podz - 26
Melton - 24
Wiggins - 24
Moody - 24
Buddy - 20
Kyle - 20
Looney - 20
It's very much a Hubie Brown / Pop / Euroleague type minutes breakdown, but I think that's needed with this deep of a team and the age of Steph/Dray. And don't get too caught up on the exact ranking there, point is everyone above 20 and nobody over 30... let it land however based on performance.
