I was more following the initial - what if Donte could be the point guard of the future. At the same time, I really don't see Ant at point. A good comparison would be Lakers with Kobe, Fisher, and Harper (Donte). Even if Ant turns into MJ good in passing and Harper maybe considered the PG but that Bulls team had others who passed the ball. I just don't see we play that way

ANT isn't really far off from MJ at the moment. Jordan wasn't some heliocentric ball-hanlder or passer. He played with good spacing next to better passers [See Pippen].

You are also discounting Randle, who is a good playmaker/passer.

Jordan was a way better passer with way better vision than Ant. On his second or third year, Bulls wanted to use Jordan at point. Just watch Jordan vs Knicks1995 pass to Bennington. I like Ant but he still have a long way to go.

Just swing over to lurk on the Knicks page and see what's up and they're still longing for DDV. Love this pickup more and more each day.

Is the "Big Ragu" his official nickname? Is this what they have called him around the league or just something OP made up?

I personally love Donte's Inferno.
He plays like he is on fire on both ends of the court. Never stops moving and has a nasty streak too.
I also like how inferno matches the way he can light it up.
Lastly is the redhead inferno link.

I know it's been said before but how excited are we to have the 3rd best 3pt shooter in the NBA only behind two future all of famers ( Steph Curry and Luka Doncic).

Yes. It goes back to 2017.

DiVincenzo was given the nickname "The Big Ragu" by Fox broadcaster Gus Johnson.

Johnson called DiVincenzo "The Big Ragu" following his game-winning tip-in to lift Villanova over Virginia during his sophomore season in Philadelphia. When he was later asked about the nickname, DiVincenzo said he assumed it was because he's "Italian with red hair."

While he was with the Bucks, DiVincenzo gave some more context behind the nickname.

"[Johnson] gave me the nickname one day saying that I got the sauce," DiVincenzo said. "He said it worked perfectly because I'm Italian, I got red hair and I got a little swag to me."

"Big Ragu" it is, but I still plan on yelling Donte's Inferno when he lights a team up for 5 3's in a row :D

Finch keeps pulling stuff out of his bag from his time in New Orleans, well here's a little more to pull from.

After losing Beasley, its good to have someone who is not hesitant to fly it out from 3 and is a decent shooter. Also unlike Beasley, Donte is not a one dimensional player. Finch must be extremely happy to have Donte

The kid endeared himself to me with all of that last night. I love that we have someone with an edge to run the perimeter with Ant. Keep it up young man, we got your back.

I think a couple of the things that I really appreciate about Donte....

1. He has been an integral part of elite defenses.
2. He has played with elite NBA offensive talent, yet still has the IQ and the ability to pick his spots and make an impact. This is something where we've seen Jaden McDaniels struggle, for example, but DiVincenzo is not shy about putting up a shot when the team needs it.

We have a certified DAWG with an edge in our locker room. No soft cats around here.

I think the issue is Dane still thinks NAW is PG2. DDV is a better passer, smarter player, and bigger offensive threat. DDV isn’t second best on the team overall, but he is a nice fit in this and frankly most offenses.
