I dunno. Something about that statement sounds a bit off. It almost sounds presumptuous.

I get it that he wants to be the best version of himself, but taking shots at other player's work ethic is a delicate situation - especially since he's only approaching his second year in the league. Especially saying that they may not deserve it. Not everyone lives on social media to show you every waking moment of their lives.

I dunno. Or it could just be nothing.

I get it. I wouldn't be ok with a snot nosed kid coming into the work place saying everyone is lazy and needs to grind harder. But when it comes to sports I'm a hypocrite. I fck with this kind of hubris.

As soon as Shamet got hurt the Kings rushed to lock up McBuckets so the Knicks couldn't take a look at him....dirty dogs.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right

I love it too. And he actually freestyled. Riff Raff a smart, funny guy and he has some good jams. I always respected his authenticity.

Yea that's a classic.

I don't know if it's the nostalgia talking but Harry Fraud beats hit different 10 years ago.

That's that Playing in the Wind era

young drill artists are starting to use beats that while not exactly the same tempo-wise have a somewhat similar feel

My favorite Chief Keef joint also one of my favorites of all time. Super cloudy.

We talked about this a few months ago I think but I loved that late 2000s-early 2010s era when Soundcloud was becoming a thing and artists were exploring new vibes outside of old-school rap and trap. A lot of artistic expression. Rocky was "Wassup" and "Peso" etc, Robb Banks, Spaceghost, Riff Raff, Max B a bit earlier, Neako, Theophilus London... That adjective gets thrown around a bit too much but this was a really underrated period for rap. There was always something interesting. I think Lil Wayne helped usher that to a large extent.

i love that keef song

yeah, it was just a real creative time with a lot of people exploring new sounds. maybe not a lot of great lyricists per se but sonically it was real interesting. a lot of it is just gone too. the files disappeared off the internet and will never be on streaming. gotta find them on youtube.

Wembanyama doesn’t strike me as someone who would stay in San Antonio long term

Return to New York Knicks
