They can trade him if it's not working, he's basically an expiring.

The only way I see it working is if McDaniels can go back to shooting over 35% from three, and they play Donte a lot more. That would be leaning all the way into Randle ball though, and why would you do that when Naz Reid is right there?

randle's best role for them is 6th man. which is not the best for randle in a contract year. this isn't going to go well for them.

Randle’s gonna torpedo Minny, Klay’s gonna tank the Mavs, Westbrook is gonna cook DEN, and Derozan won’t help Sac much. Teams are gonna realize that adding players based solely on stats rather than current career fit… isn’t going to end well.
