I made the Jordan Walsh to Andre IGGY comparison last year. Should be noted Scal just made the same comp. Either he reads this site or great minds think alike.
Would I be wrong in hoping if Tatum or Brown are out with an injury, Boston start Walsh over Hauser. NOT a disrespect to Hauser who is becoming the "man" But I am a big believer in Fit and keeping Hauser and PP as snipers coming off the bench all while Jordan can just guard and occasionally shoot an open 3 or put back some shots..
Now that I am thinking about it, same if Jrue or White sit out.. White/Jrue and Tatum handle the ball if necessary while PP, better suited for a 6th man type stays to his strength.
For both the team and Walsh's development, I see this as a double bonus..
GO BOSTON!!!

I don't know if I'd go that far (starting Walsh over Hauser) but I will say this.
One thing that has stood out for me when watching Walsh (in preseason but this has been consistent with him in summer league, in g league, in college and in HS too) is that he seems to have a really good combination of conditioning + motor.
Conditioning - seems to be in great shape, never gets tired..even in a game where he'd out there in the last 5 mins of the 4th quarter where he'd played 20 or even 30+ mins in the game and he's still going hard out there
Motor - going hard, all the time. Even when other guys are going half speed, half effort cause it's just preseason or whatever..he's hustling, diving on the floor, etc.
At times, that high motor he plays with has backfired to the point where he plays so hard and is going crazy out there, it has at times caused him to play out of control, play rushed, and rush shots, or throw the ball away for a turnover or something. But in preseason it does seem like the game is slowing down for him and he's not rushing things..playing hard with high motor but not getting too wild or rushed out there.
He seems to be finding a nice balance and getting in a groove and his confidence is going up too.
But because of the conditioning aspect, he does seem like a guy who probably could handle big mins..like potentially 30-35 mins in a game if we were in a pinch. I'm not certain Hauser has that in him..I feel like if you over-extended Hauser and he was out there for 30+ mins in a game he would start getting fatigued, he's start getting beat defensively or start bricking 3's.
But you look at Walsh the other night vs Toronto. It was the last play of the game and you look at how hard he went to the basket and how quick he was off the dribble getting to the basket (and should have gotten to the line..the replay clearly showed he got hit on the arm for a foul), even after playing a lot of mins that game. Seemed like a guy who could have kept playing another few mins, even if it went to OT. That was something that impressed me.
