Yeah, as one who screamed loudest that we needed to resign djj for the poa defense, i think his impact has become overstated. He played all season last year, but mavs defense were **** with him on the team until we got pj and gafford. So I just want to wait and see like half the season. One issue is that mavs defense is pretty much all effort, and we know since before that our guys have a really hard time to motivate themselves to put that effort in in first half of the season, so it could look bad until asb and then kick off. Issue is that coqches and management cant evaluate how it really looks
