 Man takes it so personal and goes ham on them photoshop keys. I respect it. Good to see the RJ barbz have a really devoted member!

He is owning you though. You love to see it!

 Nah. You only siding with him cause you hated Randle too and loved RJ. It’s been fun owning him for the past 5 years while he couldn’t enjoy the Knicks.

I didn't hate Randle. :o I wanted him extended. I didn't love RJ I just didn't judge him three games into his career. I gave him a chance. He was closer to my opinion of him than yours. That's for sure. He improved once he got away from Randles toxic brand of basketball. Just like our team will.

I am siding with him because someone has to help stop you and your evil attempts to troll the board!!

There's a bunch of people lined up at your funeral too!

Nah. There's a reason why sham and others coined yall as the RJ Barbz. Cause yall would troll the board excessively if someone said RJ wasn't a future star  Good riddance to him tho. He hasn't made Toronto a better team and their coach just called him out for still playing with zero effort and defense last week. Trading him turned us into contenders. The funeral for RJ and the RJ barbz was the biggest showing of a funeral for the whole year!

The fact that there's still a war going on over those players is hilarious. I see both as pieces of the Knicks rejuvenation but at the same time it was going to be tough to build a contender with either. I LOVE that instead of dumping we found advantageous situations to move both players. OG, though brittle, is an obvious winner and I think Towns is going to be easier to build with. Not only did we got value for value but we actually improved in both cases. Good management. It's so beautiful, I can almost quit this board.

How 3toheadKendra looks trying to fight back without Randle on the roster.

I do miss IQ. Look at that IQ face. Those big saucer eyes. Somebody get this man a cookie.

Which is crazy because he's the least talked about but has the most value to a winner of the players we gave up. Well, he and Donte.

They were key characters of the transition period. The faces of it, arguably. At least in the discourse. I never saw them as key pieces on a championship team here. But now the franchise is in that territory of legitimate contention, barring a disaster.

You're right that they did well turning these players into superior value, while also building a coherent roster. Good management like you said.

I think Thibs has done a pretty remarkable job to this point but now eyes are on him to makes these new pieces gel and also to keep these players healthy. Stakes are high and his coaching could be the difference.

Right. Is Thibs also a transition piece or is he part of the final form? Even with the extension, I think we need to at least get close this season.

I do feel a little bad for Iron Jimmit though. He spent so much energy hyping up Obi and RJ, only for them to have zero impact on their new teams. That must suck spending years of trolling the board hyping up mid players while ending up being wrong about them.   oof!

Yes, agreed.

Sixers getting PG does add noise to the discussion because a healthy Knicks team could get close yet lose in the second round in a tight series vs a healthy Philly or Boston.

They have this core under contract for the next few years so I don't think they should necessarily overreact if they don't reach their objective this year, assuming they play well. But if Thibs does a poor job (like he did in 2021-22) with these pieces, I think they should consider making a change.

Anyways back on topic, that dude Dalton Knecht had the best preseason game I've ever seen by a rookie. That was insane.

 I do feel like after year 3 the frank frooters started to die down a little. The rj barbz were still in full blown denial right until we traded him.

Frank was like the robotaxi. Great idea in the lab but the rollout was terrible.

Marc Stein used some computer simluation thing that accurately predicted Boston to win the chip and the Timberwolves to be really good last year. This is what it predicts for this season
