And that’s lazy GMing. Lots of great players have come into the league at 22-23. Hakeem, David Robinson, Elgin Baylor, Dame etc.

Yes. In this draft, there is no way he should have fallen out of the top 10 IMO.

That's not true. He had/has questions about how he'd hold up athletically and defensively. I didn't think he'd fall to the Lakers, but I think the fit is near perfect. I thought he'd be picked 10-15.

But I agree if he was younger and had those same questions he'd be picked higher IMO.

I get that but the starters’ health, I would imagine, is more important to start the season. Either way, they blew the lead.
