Not sure about y’all, but I enjoyed my last glimpse of seeing Ware on court in 2024

Memphis played Ja Morant and Marcus Smart against basically the roster of the Sioux Falls Skyforce...and lost. Pretty weak, Coach Jenkins. By the way, I lover Zyon Pullin out there.

Fun game. The youngins could get some burn in season, they play pretty damn well. Ware is a beast. He's gonna need minutes with Bam. The spacing in that lineup is tantalizing.

i will say only this. kel'el ware has a bright future ahead of him. he needs to come out in the second unit. that's the only way he will develop faster and make some adjustments in his defense. small ones at that. he needs to be quicker to rotate around down low. i would not be surprised if this kid has a double double next season in a constant basis

I'm with you. I haven't seen it often. t's funny how often fans seem to complain about Ware jumping for everything when that really isn't the case with his game. He needs to refine plenty about his defensive awareness and discipline, but overjumping to hunt blocks hasnt really been where the deficiency shows. Many just expect that to be the critique for this type of center and project it on him.

Those cuts leave the Heat with 14 players on standard contracts for the start of the regular season: Bam Adebayo, Thomas Bryant, Alec Burks, Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Haywood Highsmith, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Nikola Jovic, Pelle Larsson, Kevin Love, Josh Richardson, Duncan Robinson, Terry Rozier and Kel’el Ware. The Heat’s three two-way contract slots remain occupied by Josh Christopher, Keshad Johnson, and Dru Smith.

The Heat’s roster remains one short of the regular-season limit of 15 players under standard contracts. But Miami is expected to open the regular season with 14 players on standard deals because of its position against the ultra-punitive second apron.

By staying under the second apron for now, the Heat is still allowed to aggregate salaries in a trade or send out cash in a trade. But because Miami is already above the first apron, it can’t take back more salary in a trade than it sends out. The Heat opens the regular season on Wednesday night against the Orlando Magic at Kaseya Center.

Early in SL he was chasing blocks. Mightve lasted for a game. Spo said no more of that. Since then hes staying grounded, even when he could block a shot pretty easily.

The play i mentioned last night was the obvious reason you dont chase blocks. He gave up points because he chased one.

I love blocks and steals. They can impact the other teams mentality and potentially push the pace. However, if a team notices you are getting greedy they will abuse you for it. Teams will foul bait the heck out of you for it as well.

Passes the eye test. I like Little but his offensive game and mindset had to grow and it didnt progress enough over the amount of time he was allotted. He has a very solid frame, excellent length for a guard and quality athleticism. The between the ears stuff isnt strong enough to break through though...

Well his passing tends to be on point. He has a great expectation of where his teammates are going to be. Just watch him. I see potential.

This a short clip of him.

Everyone knows bam is a solid star... It is not big news, So we don't need the highly efficient brain power of Paul and KG Telling us...but in order to be a superstar, bam has to become a leader!

JB Is a negative at this point... Sorry Jimmy but it's a truth, bam can't overcome you.

With Bam's new three point shooting, we'd be the most annoying team on the planet to play against. Just 3's, lobs and ft's

Dude turned Embiid into an MVP, imagine what he can do for Bam. Team still lacks a facilitator also. Being that we’re basically stuck in the middle id be all for it since we got nothing to lose. He’s an expiring deal after next season if worse comes to worst

Still one of the best PG's in the league and potentially affordable, DOM...

I was thinking more along the lines of Heat execs/coaches. Can you envision Harden playing Heat D? Now, I know weve had some poor defenders, but at least they "tried". And I know Harden could play better D, but Mr. "I am the system" kinda stands out as the anti-Heat in that regard.

If viewed through a lense of who gives us the higher ceiling between Herro and harden, you pick harden all day. The Tyler Herro experience has run its course with the Heat and he would be better served putting up big scoring outputs on other teams perhaps not looking to compete. Whether the Heat window is still open or not, this may be the very last year of the Jimmy era. Team should be at a nothing to lose phase since we’re not competing either way
