From Jake Fischer, so take with a tiny grain of salt.

Trading MarJon remains one of the most obvious outcomes of this season. We didn’t need a report from an insider to know that we’re shopping him but alas.

“Lastly, the Bucks have informed rival teams of Milwaukee’s early interest in trading MarJon Beauchamp, sources said. Beauchamp, a G League Ignite product, could help the Bucks acquire a defensive-minded wing.”

It also sounds like we want to trade him ASAP

What's Marjon's value even? I'd be fine with a bag of chips and opening a roster spot because I don't think teams will cough up a pick or "wing defender" that the article states they want.

Horsts drafting is becoming an issue the older this roster gets. You have to be nearly perfect on the margins in a small market if you want to extend the window. I get it's hard to draft later in round 1, but holy crap does he whiff a lot.

MarJon and a first or some other asset would be very different than if we’re dealing him on his lonesome.

One issue w/ trading the "young" guys is they have to be dealt individually, & there are a dearth of vets that make under that salary. That means Horst has to go into his bag, which is a bag of chips too. It's all that's in his briefcase.

Keon Ellis’ salary for MarJon works under the cap despite the 2nd apron.

Add our first and other assets as needed (AJ Green / Bobby?) in a multi-team trade if Vivek is blowing it.

Read on Twitter

On Monday, the Sacramento Kings traded Jalen McDaniels and a second round pick to the San Antonio Spurs. The deal was a cost-cutting move that led to many people speculating whether the Kings may be gearing up for a win-now deal.

This storyline seemed to be coming to an anti-climatic ending, as, on Wednesday, the Kings signed sharpshooting journeyman Doug McDermott. McDermott has put together a solid NBA career, and in the right context, he still has something to offer to an NBA team. But, respectfully, he is far from a marquee player at this point in time. There goes the chance to discuss a blockbuster trade. Sigh.

The Sacramento Kings May Have Another Big Trade In The Tank

Wait just a minute there. It appears that the Kings may not be done making moves.

“They are still trying to trade for Zach LaVine or Brandon Ingram,” an anonymous source close to the situation told Sportscasting. “Those are their two targets.”

Ingram makes some sense if you’re moving on from Murray but didn’t Sacto say in the off season they weren’t?

Lavine would be a typical old Kings move, I thought they were past those days?

That franchise reeks of desperation, a good GM is gonna wax them in a trade. Horst has made some decent trades but the savvy ‘take advantage’ type he’s not.

FWIW, Keith Smith is reporting that we're looking to trade MarJon to free up a roster spot for Thanasis lol. Wish I were kidding.

Sacramento has been linked to LaVine and Ingram for a while so it's not like this has come from nowhere.

Ingram's looked great in preseason but I'm not arguing it makes sense for the Kings or they'd be happy. And LaVine lol especially on that team.

It's much easier to get the salaries to work if Murray is included in the deal but it's not necessarily required.

Let's say the Pelicans want to own as many Bucks picks as possible...

Kings trade: Ellis, Huerter, Lyles, Devin Carter (#13 in 2024 draft).
Kings receive: Ingram, MarJon

Pelicans trade: Ingram
Pelicans receive: Bucks 2031 first, Devin Carter, Huerter, Lyles

Bucks trade: 2031 first, MarJon
Bucks receive: Ellis

Bucks could also send Bobby Portis to the Pelicans straight into their open MLE as a technically separate trade to avoid aggregation 2nd apron restrictions if we wanted to.

Is Bates-Diop any good at defense? If the answer is yes, trade Marjon for him. If no, continue to look for trade.

I'm surprised he even reported that. He's aware of Thansis' injury and I doubt they'd just give him a spot to be cheerleader for the year. These Boston homer reporters are the worst.

Karsenmitsche wrote:Bucks missing on Ryan Dunn to take a shot on a guy who might be ready in 3 years is unforgivable.

Generational defensive prospect who fills the wing role we desperately need and now he’s shooting 45% from 3 on 7 attempts per game.

Him and Giannis would have terrorized teams next to eachother on defense.

Tough.

The Ryan Dunn hype train rolls on.

I'll believe he's playable on offense when I see it.

I'd take any 2nd.

Horrendous pick. Not DJ Wilson bad, but in the same zip code.

Kings, Grizzlies and Pelicans could absorb Bobby into the MLE under the cap to fill out their front court.

Imagine that’d drop the Bucks under the 2nd apron too.

Make Thanasis an assistant coach. Or ball boy. Or whatever. He could still hang out with the team.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I know 80% of this board wants bobby gone really so whose gonna replace his scoring as bad as some of you say he is on D hes still a double double machine n that opens up a huge hole with scoring off the bench.I would trade 3 youngsters instead of bobby
