I wonder how many people will go to both games on Sunday?!

I'd just stay in MSG all day, never leave!

Well that'd be an unwise decision, since the Liberty have played full-time at Barclays for the past five seasons.

Lynx got annihilated today. I thought the game was 3PM my time but when I came to check in the game was over. Oh well. We have home court advantage now.

They were within 2 points with like 6 minutes to go but yeah, they didn't play well today. Too many mistakes and turnovers, too many bad shots.

I just saw the final score. Seems like both teams had a lid on the basket, but even worse for us.

I don't think we got annihilated. We could have very well won that game, but we made to many mistakes which you can't do against the Liberty.

Way too many missed freebies tonight. Down four with a minute to go, shouldn't be in this position.

So many missed layups. Easily could have put the game away.

Even when we were up 15 in the first quarter I just knew "there's no way this doesn't come down to the end". Lynx went cold when they could least afford it. Alana Smith being out for long periods with fouls and back trouble while still being a plus 19 hurt bad. But they were tied with 10 seconds left and Sabrina Ionescu hits a 30 footer leaving 1 seconds on the clock. There's just not much you can do about that.

Better point guard No. 10: Conley or Williams?

Man, totally different styles. Conley is super dependable. Williams is every bit the 2 guard who became a good PG mid career. Conley, but not by much.

If you're talking skill Conley. When you factor in gender Williams. If the Lynx win the title Williams will be the MVP.

Not sure Mike is okay to become a women  .

Different style, but they are both good PG.

Good to see that the ol' Minnesotan failure to execute late in games transcends genders.

So much poor offence down the stretch, and honestly for large parts of the game too. Screens set poorly and/or don't get used correctly, so nothing happens with them. Little if any cutting. And far too many isolations that literally go nowhere.

Carleton was good on both ends and obviously had the big FTs to clinch the game. FrenchMinnyFan is right about Williams though; you can tell she's not a PG. I checked the box score and honestly 2 TOs seems far lower than I thought. She had too many possessions of dribbling out the clock, although to be fair she did have a number of clutch baskets too.

I'm rooting for the Lynx but I expect the Liberty to win.

Williams isn't a true PG but she is a damn baller. She has a ton of dog in her and you can see how much the team depends on her confidence. That's just an intangible that doesn't show up on the stat sheet, in person its even more noticeable. She's a huge on the floor leader and confidence booster. That said the Lynx are barely scraping by. They need to make some additions this off-season. I really really wish we took Angel Reece, her size and rebounding would help.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

I don’t think we make the finals with Reese.

Phenomenal rebounder, but I don’t see her buying into the Lynx culture. She’s such a bad offensive player - and so selfish on that end.
