The Detroit Pistons are signing guard Alondes Williams and forward Cole Swider to two-way contracts. Williams had gone to training camp with the LA Clippers, while Swider attended camp with the Indiana Pacers.
Williams is a two-year NBA veteran. The 6-foot-4 guard has played with the Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat. Last season, in 43 games with the Sioux Fall Skyforce of the G League, Williams averaged 20.4 points, 7.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
Swider spent his first two NBA seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat. Last season, in 21 G League games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 24.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
