Damn, that was who I was going to take. Was going to take him in Dynasty until the last minute too and changed my mind and took someone else but figured I'd get him here.

Just checked the thread so will figure it out and pick soon.

Hard to find that combination of FT% and steals that I needed, so I will go for Lonzo Ball a second time given it's so late in the draft, and his career avg in steals is 1.6. 1.8 in his last year. With only a few picks left, chances are someone else I could have gotten will be on waivers.

Hope he stays healthy though. He may feel kind of old, but he's still in the same class as Tatum with a 2 1/2 years less mileage and a new knee.

Going with the theme of picking a player who hasn’t been healthy enough to be on the court, I will take Ben Simmons.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Looked at him too...would have possibly considered if not for FT%. Ben Simmons teases every year though.

Honestly, I was debating between KCP and Lonzo. Lonzo looked good in his last preseason game. I was hoping he’d go undrafted and depending on how well he does first couple of games he’d be a good streamer pickup

This is my second time playing this format and sadly gave up on free throws since selecting Paolo. Not sure how it will play out for me yet.

Not sure why TASTIC didn't pick yesterday. BDR's pick was made before noon NZ time.

Apologies - a friend had a loss in their family so spent most of the time helping them out and didn’t even realise I was up.

Tight turnaround til season starts - maybe make players FA rather than W when the draft is done? Allows for more adds if players are on the IL?

I’ll take Reed Sheppard

Can I suggest making players FA rather than on waivers to start the season? Cutting it fine before tipoff

Okay, draft has been finalized and season started in Yahoo. Go check and set your lineups, let me know if you see anything that was entered incorrectly.

Says waivers will process on the 22nd. I think we keep it at that. The other option is to make everyone immediate free agents and I don't think that's fair since basically whoever logs on first will benefit

Funny I went on and thought about changing it due to his request and thought "well it's unfair that I can add players first when I change it but it would also be dumb for me not to and to let others do it first" so I realized it's the only fair way unless it was agreed on beforehand.

Of course 2 of my best players are injured, not including Luka, who may also be injured.

For those at all interested in stats/numbers, I put together some numbers to predict the season standings for our league since we are about half-way through the season.
