WOW, again like a broken record, This team has a lot of talent, but they are making young dumb mistakes. It's nice to be that good can overcome these errors.

Love is definitely giving Favre vibes. But PRE-MVP Favre needed some coaching to cut down on INTs and it did work. Love still only has 1.5 seasons as the starter. You hope there's room for growth, where he can still be aggressive but be smarter about it. Hopefully some coaching and experience can reduce those INTs. If he does, he's an MVP candidate.

Some of Love's throws are ridiculous. I remember a couple beautiful throws to Wicks and Kraft. OMG that throw and then catch by Kraft in the endzone is so pretty.

RASHAN GARY!!! LET'S GOOOO!! Great to see him show up and earning that contract! No complaints, he was a major disrupter.

Just a huge  to the defense. They were put in so many tough spots, to see them come up big again and again. Wow. Eric Wilson, Xavier with the sack, and others had big moments. 3forced FGs by the D and the failed 2pt conversion won that game. THIS IS A NEW DEFENSE!!!!

Remember the Rodgers days, we just begged the D to give us a chance! This is THAT D!

congrats on the Kickers BOTH of them. Whelan with incredible punts and THAT SAVE ON THE SNAP!!!

STs needs work. Reed should not be returning. Long Snapper needs to be perfect, YOU HAVE ONE JOB!!! A special Teams snap can lose a game.

It's nice to keep getting W's and still have a lot of room to improve. What a luxury.

He's been so so good this season. Best punter of my lifetime.

Agreed Hentrich is the best punter the Packers have had (in my lifetime). Ron Wolf said letting him go was one of his biggest mistakes.

Whelan is getting there fast. He's so good and young could see him being a Packers solid punter for a decade. That would be amazing. He's crazy tall too 6ft 5" 216lbs.

Who has the consistently best hands among the recievers? I don't think you can solely measure by drops per target as a subtraction. Making contested catches counts a lot. Doubs or Kraft would be my guess for the best hands. *edit* Whelan may be in the running as well....

Did I miss a trick play with Colby Wooden on the OL?

It's beyond time for MLF to rip out the end around plays from the playbook. There were three of them that resulted in negative yards, with that idiotic one on 3rd and 1 deep in our own territory being the worst of the bunch. The way Jacobs was running the ball, how do you not line up and just give him the ball and see what he can do in that spot? And I really don't understand the infatuation with giving Bo Melton end arounds either.

Like everyone has said, the talent on this team is clearly evident. They're good. They just need to clean up the sloppiness and stupidity. I don't want to see Reed ever return punts again.

That performance by the defense though was outstanding. Even in a game when they get no takeaways, they completely shut down a pretty good passing offense and were wreaking havoc in the backfield all game long. This team can win a lot of games if the defense continues to play like that the rest of the season. Sky is absolutely the limit.

They're averaging 8.8 yards per rush on end-arounds/jet sweeps by the WR's. There's zero reason to completely stop doing them.

I guess I didn't realize that, although I'm sure that number is skewed by the long one that Reed had earlier this year.

Running horizontally helps open up the ability to run vertically

That action also freezes defenders which gives Jacobs more room up the middle.

It's also something that the defense has to spend effort on gameplanning for. I do hope he picks his spots a little more carefully moving forward though

Hafley was awesome yesterday. Definitely the most impressed with him I've been through the first 7 games. The unit executed well and he called a great game

Romo mentioned yesterday that Hafley will get a HC gig at some point. Hopefully not for awhile.

Given his previous HC appearance, I'd think Flores (maybe Saleh as well?) gets the initial interviews. Both those guys got dumped with some questions as to why they were fired. Hopefully Haefley has to show some extended performance before getting his nod.

Need to shore up the run D, as that's how you beat these exotic looks from Hafley and Flores. Gibbs ran it down Minny's throat yesterday, and Mixon almost was our doom as well.

A defense with a front four that can stop the run on its own and a back 7 talented enough to run these looks is damn near unstoppable.

I guess you just keep trusting that the mental stuff will catch up with the physical tools, but Van Ness having only 3 pressures in nearly 200-snaps is not what you want to see out of your Top-15 pick Edge rusher in Year 2. Dude needs to start showing some signs of life, or else the bust talk is gonna start heating up.
