Trey Murphy III and the New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a four-year, $112 million contract extension.

They had a choice, they didn't want to give BI the $40/mil he's seeking because dude is not worth that much. Some desperate team like Detroit or Charlotte will give it them though..

Yeah, I don't think this has much to do with BI. This is a good deal for NOP and was going to get done either way.
