Thank god the season is here.

Please don't be down by 15 after the 1st quarter.

The simple fact that you could even have a player, let alone a rookie step into the starting line up and largely keep the same anticipated rotations is a hella luxury

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

If Allen gets up

Jones, Beal, Booker, Durant, Nurkic
Morris, Allen, Dunn, O'Neale, Plumlee

We're small but maybe ahead of the curve if teams are shooting 40 threes minimum a game

Referring to Dunn. Like when you draft a guy in the late first round, you're generally not expecting a contributing player in Year One, let alone one who could be a solid rotation guy and could occasionally step in the starting line up.

Looking at that lineup, swapping Beal and Dunn makes so much more sense for both units. Unfortunately it'll never happen.

First unit needs a primary stopper and the 2nd unit needs scoring punch.

Jones, Booker, Dunn, Durant, Nurkic
Morris, Beal, Allen, O'Neale, Plumlee

That should be the starter and primary backup at each position. And I like Beal but he just makes more sense on that 2nd unit.

I'm ok with easing Dunn in as 6th man, 1st off the bench for Budenholzer allows us to adjust his minutes based on performance.

I do think we need his game style to beat the top teams 4 times.

I don't know that we will play entire units like that for much of the game unlike some past coaches did. I expect a great deal of staggering. I expect to get a decent dose of Dunn unless his shooting disappears.

Another reason to start Dunn though if his shooting struggles is if Nurkic is hitting 3s, because Plumlee won't be doing that.

If last season was any indication, I would be more afraid of being up by 15 at the end of the 3rd quarter and having a complete collapse in the 4th.
Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Full strength?

Jones, Beal, Booker, Durant, Nurkic
Morris, Allen, Dunn, O'Neale, Plumlee

Looks like a great line up if all our elements perform

I think our ceiling is top 2 seed with OKC

What does your WC look like?

It's interesting this season with OKC being the only team in the West that (imo) clearly got better with the addition of Caruso and should be a lock for the #1 seed. All the other playoff teams from last season either took a step back or is about the same. I think there could be 4-5 teams that could be vying for the 2nd seed. I have Dallas, Denver, Minny, us and potentially Memphis as a dark horse.

I like it as a funny, non-serious nickname as it evokes other imagery but Dunny would be a very aussie nickname for the guy

I, for one, am very excited to watch a group of grown men endeavor to put a ball through a hoop, all the while preventing an opposing group of grown men from achieving the same feat, albeit through a hoop on the opposite site of the court.
