When Mitchell Robinson comes back.....this starting 5 can get some minutes if we dont like the toughness inside with KAT at 5 for 30+ minutes a game.

I agree with this, and it may be why so many are being guarded about showing any optimism. We should remember we don't usually do too well in the first 10-20 games, but then we've done well. There's no reason to worry that both KAT and Mikal will give us historically poor performances for an entire season. We should be able to be competitive by the time the playoffs are approaching.

josh strikes me as the type to go 30% in preseason since he doesn't even like practice. hopefully he taps into a better gear tomorrow. he needs to get back to getting boards and running the one-man break.

We have no idea if this team is better than last years. They have to prove that. We got a 25-30 game glimpse of what last years team could be and it was best in the league.

I think this team has a lot to work on but hopefully they can figure things by midseason. If not then we make a push for 2026

I think this team has a lot to work on but hopefully they can figure things by midseason. If not then we make a push for 2026

We had 4 different teams last year. The best version was a 14 game sample and then it was over. All this talk about the best team that never was is funny. We played more games with a broken down squad that kept changing rotations than we did with any other version. They climbed to the 2 seed and a game from the ECF. There was ZERO continuity with this team last season.

We might take a little while until things click but, the ONE constant was the PG. Brunson is the straw that stirs the drink. Perhaps we should stall out on the constant negativity that is based on some mythical dream team that is supposed to be better than the current one. Again, that team people are clinging to played 14 games together. Mid season.

The biggest key to this season is health. That's what we really need to focus on. That's what THIBS should be looking to preserve. We clearly upgraded our defense and talent. It just has to find it's groove and not fall apart again. That is all I am worried about.
