The good thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.
The bad thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.

35-38, perfect for low play-in spot and keeping this board as pissed off as possible

39 wins.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Every year there is a team or two that far exceeds the sum of their parts, AND gets extremely lucky on the health front. I am hoping that can be us this year. It will take career years from 3 starters and at least one of the unknowns to surprise us to get anywhere close to .500 IMO.

Heart wants to say 41 wins, but my head says 33.

I don’t really care about win and loss numbers, this year. There are so many things on the development end that I am really looking forward to on this team. It from top to bottom, from alpha SB to youngster Chomche. As long as they play hard, and showing effort as a team. How much they can improve during the season is much more fascinating than the win column.

My gut tells me low 30s, but I can easily see 35-40 if things go well, but I can also see a similar win total to last year if the Raps pull the plug on the season after the trade deadline.

Judging them on their final win total isn't the way I'm going to measure success this season though. Darko could play all the starters 40 minutes and they'd win a lot more games, but that doesn't really help long term planning much. If guys like Barnes, Dick, IQ, RJ show improvement, if a couple of the rookies show promise, if one of the re-draft guys becomes an asset, that will make it a successful season even if they lose more than they win. They need establish a core and some tradeable assets.

Using my patent pending win prediction formula:

8-17 (during the first 25 games of the season when our schedule is brutal)

13-17 (when everyone is healthy and schedule normalizes)

5-12 (during the games when one of Barnes or Poeltl is out)

2-8 (end of season tanking)

28-54

Low 30s. I foresee a lot of missed time due to "injuries".
