Scorching hot depths of hell take there friend.

Magic will be nowhere near as healthy this season as they were last guaranteed.

That, and I think the East got significantly better while the West got worse.

OKC also still has an MVP candidate and better roster this season than last.

One would think, minus obviously Isaac, we got rid of Fultz. Are you predicting Suggs goes back to being injury prone? WCJ is injured more or less?

Carter, Isaac, possibly one of Suggs or KCP.

Franz and Paolo have been very healthy players up to this point as well.

We'll see. I'm putting the odds at around 10%. Not something I'd put money on but something that I think can happen if the West and East line up the way I think they will, e.g., Nuggets and Suns are dominant and the Thunder are stuck battling it out with the Mavs, Pelicans, Wolves, and Griz.

This is the year we get Denvers pick right? We'll have to keep an eye out for how they do. Any thoughts on how their season goes?

Oh man. 0% chance of that.

OKC won 57 last year and added two super high end role players in Caruso and Hartenstein while losing no one of consequence.

Unless they are just decimated by lengthy injuries, they feel like a near lock to win 58+ games.

The Magic won't sniff that this year unless Paolo's secretly about to launch a "oh by the way I'm a top 12 NBA player now" kind of season.

Don't be surprised to read a news headline : " Magic Realgm poster arrested trying to whack OKC Thunder players legs "

Hmmmm i wonder what our gane plan is when BOS just spm 3s?

I mean.. its not even like a well designed pkay, its just passing the ball around until someone chucks it.

Celtics miss their last 13 three pointers and end up just tying the 3PTM record. Losers!

Not have WCJ play like KAT on defense

This is exactly why I didn’t like the trade for the Knicks. Maybe the plan is to play Robinson at the 5 and KAT at the 4 once Mitchell gets back. That’s their only hope IMO. KAT anchoring your defense at the 5 ain’t it.

JJ and LBJ are gonna get the Lakers firing this season. Might be some false starts but when they click, look out.

Lakers go as far as Davis can carry them. Guy owned Randle and Gobert today. Scored 33% of total Lakers points, grabbed over 1/3rd of all rebounds and had 40% of all their blocks

I assume both Brown and Tatum will have chip on their shoulder early on in regular season, being bu**hurt about national team selection. Celtics are by far biggest title favorites and clear cut best team in nba this year. Very few teams can challenge them. When they make shots they are pretty much impossible to beat. I picked them to win last year title around January, 10 months later i just don't see how any team can beat them in 7 games series. Maybe Nuggets due fact they don't have much options to guard Jokic. Other than that, i just don't see it.

When you allow 17 wide open 3s in first quarter .... Opponent makes 10 (in first quarter ) and you nitpick to blame Towns for it

Same play, 63 sec later

Both plays with Towns on bench, in both plays they just allow open shots.

Their defensive concept was pure a**, and majority of blame for this isn't on centers but wings who did terrible job navigating screens.
You can't get hooked on high screen 42 feet away from rim, why would you even go that far out? What are you guarding? Tatum 42 foot pull up jumpers?

This play was pure comedic gold. OG gets smoked on drive, McBride fails to set charge, Payne guards his shadow in corner and Jrue Holiday had enough time to order latte, read some book and make jumper before somebody reacts. i'm sure this is also somehow Towns fault

Yup, I forgot that Sims is a DPOY type big. Him and Towns are clearly better defenders than Hartenstein… especially in drop coverage.

Oh Isaiah Hartenstain, prime Hakeem in eyes of some people. You would thought guy wasn't bounced around like garbage 2 years ago, losing rotation to McGee, Jeff Green, Bruno Coboclo etc.
That guy is prime example why players want to play on big markets. People think he is some uber elite center only because he was on biggest market team in playoffs. Just like nobody ever mentions Marcus Smart any more, but on Celtics he was God's gift to Earth.

This is Celtics 4th win in last 5 games vs Knicks. They are simply better team.

The Celtics are simply better but KAT is known to be a terrible defender… which is why Minnesota traded for Gobert and became a good team for the first time in decades. KAT is an all-star scorer, there is no doubt about that but I highly question the fit defensively.
