I know some of you like to troll...
But like I said in the game thread most of you know it takes time for new teams to build chemistry...
You did say that, but watching it just feels different, no?
If we came out and beat the Celtics today - I would have guaranteed we would win the chip this year. Honestly, I didnt expect a win just for the simple fact that guys like Kat, Hart, OG, Mikal and even Brunson are going to have to spend a lot of time making adjustments. Theres a lot going on...Kat for one had to move his family here and Im sure he didnt have time to get together with the guys and thibs to practice. The trade happened so close to training camp there just wasnt any time...
Talent can't win a chip alone- the fact that Boston won - shows you that their chemistry is elite. No way a new team (regardless of talent) was going to out play them. This is a team sport. Chemistry supersedes talent in BB.
So to answer your question it didnt feel different- It makes sense...

Definitely relieved Mikal shot it better in the second half. Someone needs to tell him to keep doing that and less of that bull hitch in the 1st half.
I predicted 52-54 wins and about 15-20 games for them to get comfortable playing with each other.
I was freaking irritated tonight, but am stepping off the ledge. They need someone to bring some toughness to this team, because I do not see one single person that will clap back when they get punched in the mouth like they did tonight.

• Mikal Bridges finally found his shot
• Josh Hart scored in double-figures
• Deuce McBride looks to have taken the leap
• Karl-Anthony Towns was efficient
• Knicks shot 55% as a team from the field

We are paying OG 40 million to be the defensive enforcer. Bridges was supposed to be the best 3D guy ever and Hart was actually tough last year. Don’t know what happened to any of them but this looks awful.

Replace Mitch with KAT and these clips look the same.
It’s a scheme issue.
We always play drop coverage against them for whatever reason and it breeds the same result.
Maybe Thibs thought our perimeter defense would have been better with two good wing defenders so he could get away with it, but Mikal and OG were nonexistent tonight

I feel you but… it’s the WAY we lost.
