It's just one game. I enjoyed them getting spanked. But in the end, I like there team. I'm rooting for the Knicks.

It was always about his next contract. OG was thinking about it 2 years before it expired.

Watching Fred, OG and Pascal go about getting there new contracts was pretty rough. They clearly valued that over team success. In the end, they got what they wanted. Teams to pay them stupid money.

it was everyone including the head coach lol. def a aftermath after winning a championship, the focus was on a bag and not necessarily another ring

It’s only 1 game. Celtics aren’t going to shoot like this all season. Tatum and Brown are the definition of variance.

Knicks need to find their identity.

Still can't believe OG got 200 mill. He looked frustrated when they were missing him when he was open but then when he actually got the ball, he was clanking.

OG / Bridges / Towns gotta play better then that lol. I'm not sure those guys have a record of dependability either.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Yeah they did not look good. KAT refuses to be assertive. Nobody is setting good screens. Weak closeouts. Poor rebounding. No physicality. They better pick it up.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Remember rumours of OG being unhappy with his offensive role on raptors, gonna be even worse on the knicks

Knicks did a little too much.

They should have kept Donte DiVincenzo and iHart. OG got way overpaid, but the iHart + OG combo was great defensively.

Mikal suddenly has a new shooting form that doesn't work.

KAT isn't a defensive anchor, I don't think Mitchell Robinson is one either.

Boston took 61 3 pt shots tonight.
I didn’t watch the game, but I assume it was unwatchable.

Tonight shows why Naz Reid may never be anything more than a 6th man. All that size and yet he’s horrendous on defense. Whats worse, I don’t think he even bothered to try.

What a game by AD. Protected the rim, guarded Ant one on one on the perimeter, and played a great offensive game. One of his best that I’ve watched.

If the wolves want to make this work, Randle needs more usage. Way too much give it to Ant on the offense and Ant just doesn’t pass. There isn’t enough room down there with Randle in the mix to run the same offense.

One team with some continuity and riding high on a title defense. The other integrating new starters.

Cohesion takes time and NY will be fine. It just takes reps together and you can't do it in practice and preseason games.

Anunoby has a +390 since joining the knicks.

Chill dudes, that was the first of 82 games, and the first playing with Bridges and KAT altogether in a Lineup. This will fake sometime until all the mechanism hits.

There’s no need to over analyze and put excessive weight on game 1 of the season.

That said, I’ve always liked OG for his functional fit on basically every NBA team but he is currently grossly overpaid and may eventually become the Knicks’ fans whipping boy if the team dissapoints going forward..

Knicks will definitely be good but the cash in moment for this franchise being KAT on a supermax, OG for 200M and 5 picks for Mikal is kinda insane.

They essentially built a poor man’s Celtics in terms of design philosophy.

The knicks have too many players with big time strengths who also have big time weaknesses. You are only as good as those weaknesses let you be when it comes to teams that can and know how to exploit them.

OG has never been a whipping boy before so I doubt it. I think Bridges and Townes would be the more likely targets. Og has always escaped criticism by being a ghost/non-factor. He'll never be a guy who shoots inefficiently and that's what casuals latch onto when they go on hate campaigns.

But still....5 rebounds and 4 points. 1 steal, 0 blocks. Those are crazy numbers for a guy making that much money. He went from being underated to overated after he was traded.
