I agree, hard to find a player that would fit well with him. Simons needs a backcourt partner who can defend, preferably who can distribute, so Ant can play off ball, and preferably who has some size.
A guy like Cade Cunningham, would be a good fit with Simons IMO, Suggs in ORL, Giddey in CHI? Ball\Haliburton\SGA
IMO though, he should be a 6th man off the bench type, where he can come in with the 2nd unit and go crazy scoring-wise and where his defensive shortcomings won't be so noticeable.

Obvious preference, but surprising that the other options are pretty equal

Ant 18 / Scoot 30 / Banton 0
Camara 30 / Ant 18 / Rupert 0
Avdija 38 / Murray 10
Grant 35 / Reap 8 / Walker 5
Ayton 32 / Clingan 16
Blazers last night against the Pelicans:
Ant 36 / Scoot 28
Camara 25 / Rupert 0
Avdija 31 / Murray 15
Grant 40 / Reap 0 / Walker 17
Ayton 33 / Clingan 14

On target, Butter!
I would expect Murray, Grant, and Walker to lose minutes when Sharpe returns, but this may be approximately what we see for a while.
Return to Portland Trail Blazers
