Did you guys (and a girl) see the smile KCP had on his face when Jalen Suggs was giving Herro the business? You never heard from Herro again.

Paolo is about to have an ALL NBA season. If we finish top 3 in east, he might be in MVP conversation.

Never understood all the Bam hype, how is he all NBA Defence, NBA All-Star and on team USA? He just seems average.

For all the accolades, I would complain about him starting next to Paolo and Franz.

Paolo & Franz had amazing games, we were making whole bunch of shots to keep defense honest and prevented as many double teams.
Gary Harris goes out smoking 6 threes in 9 shots off bench.

Can't ask for better season opener.

He is much better than this game, obviously. How is he on team USA? Simple. All best nba centers are international players. Jokic,Sabonis, Porzingis,Gobert, Vemby, Poeltl,Zubac, Vuc, Capela, Ayton...
Who was alternative ? Myles Turner ? Claxton? But that's probably it.

And there is value in center who plays great defense, can move a ball and isn't ball dominant player.

Adebayo isn't top tear star, but he was second best player on team that went to game 7 of CF and finals in back to back years, so it's clear he is good.

Anthony tearing the league apart, as usual.

I'm so over this dude, can we just trade him for literally anything? Three 2nd round picks in 2040, literally anything. I'm not joking when I say that Cole Anthony is one of the bottom 5 players in NBA history, he's that bad.

So many thoughts but I need to sleep....just wanted to say this.

Even though KCP only scored 3 pts, his defense was big-time.

And we all talk about Suggs, JI and now KCP with how good they are at defense but FRANZ is really **** good at defense. Super underrated defender.

He ist. Look at Franz‘s scouting report. Before draft he was mainly praised for his defensive ability and flexibility.

Yea his footwork on defense is elite. He is 6'10 and can guard down to 6'3-6'4 guys over large part of the game. Reason he is a much better defender than a guy like Scottie Barnes, who got bad footspeed.

Paolo looks really good so far like the game slowed down. Have to wait how he looks against taller teams but so far so good.

Box score thoughts.

Orlando won the FG% battle and won the game.

57 rebounds and (+16) in glass-differential.

There was a +14 FGA differential and only a -7 FTA differential. That's wild!
(especially as Orlando shot the ball better)

Only 11 TOs on 28 Assists. I am sure Coach Mosley smiles at that.
