I didn't watch, but if that happened it's an example of when boxscore or advance metrics might not tell a correct story.

Feels like a butterfly effect, if Suggs technically stepped out of bounds then the clock would have stopped prior to the shot going up. So if after the fact they change it to him stepping out they also have to add time back onto the clock.
