That said, I’ve always liked OG for his functional fit on basically every NBA team but he is currently grossly overpaid and may eventually become the Knicks’ fans whipping boy if the team dissapoints going forward..

OG has never been a whipping boy before so I doubt it. I think Bridges and Townes would be the more likely targets. Og has always escaped criticism by being a ghost/non-factor. He'll never be a guy who shoots inefficiently and that's what casuals latch onto when they go on hate campaigns.

But still....5 rebounds and 4 points. 1 steal, 0 blocks. Those are crazy numbers for a guy making that much money. He went from being underated to overated after he was traded.

We saw that just in how the media talked about OG as a Knick. He was the same player with us but on the big stage in NY, he was seen entirely different.

In the end, he got a contract none of us wanted to give him. Same with FVV. Siakam...50/50.

It's like people are getting an entire offseason worth of takes in after one game lol.

OG wasn't making $42M/year before.

Imagine being a casual watching that game and hearing the announcer say OG made 212 million and was highest paid Knick in history

Clippers playing some beautiful basketballl right now. Suffocating defense and running it down the Sun’s throats in transition.

Great game in LA. Arena looks nice too though I’m pretty sure Ballmer is pumping in crowd noise.

ballmer dome opens with a L but that's what you get for running a harden-centric offense in 2024. suns aren't a serious team either. KD's gotta realise it should be Booker's team at this point.

Knicks did a little too much.

They should have kept Donte DiVincenzo and iHart. OG got way overpaid, but the iHart + OG combo was great defensively.

Mikal suddenly has a new shooting form that doesn't work.

KAT isn't a defensive anchor, I don't think Mitchell Robinson is one either.

They wanted to keep iHart very much but couldn't afford him. They couldn't match OKC offer because of something about his two year contract, the apron, etc.

Bridges had 16 all in second half and seemed to get his shot figured out.

Robinson is definitely a defensive anchor, just have to get him back playing.

The best team in the league played lights out and were on a mission. Knicks still have to gel some new pieces together. It's a long season.

Anyone seen the sitcom Mr Throwback? By Steph Curry's production company, Steph acts in it playing himself. It's funny, and he is quite good in it. The rest of the cast are good comic actors, including the guy who played coach Jack McKinney in Winning Time. Cameos by Chris Mullin and Steve Kerr. Only 6 episodes, on Showcase on demand in Canada.

Lizards Craptors Frail Blazers

3 worst teams in the league lose their first game by a combined 86 pts. I can see Coop in a Raptors jersey the most out of those 3

SGA/Chet is such a nice combo. So fun watching both play.

I don’t like OKC as a franchise, but their entire roster is so likable.
