Ahhhh there are those analytics again...I got nothing but my gut. Well that's too bad could have made a mediocre season a little more fun. I think this team is going to surprise people but again I got nothing to back that up.

Thinking the race for the bottom is going to be between Jazz, Wizards, Trail Blazers, Nets and Pistons. I think that the Trail Blazers have the advantage being in the WC.

The Nuggets, Kings and 76'ers have had a bad start but I don't think they will be there at the end.

Yeah, this team it too talented, I'm worried they might even push 30 wins if they stay healthy-ish and as constructed. This is why I said they should be moving Simons, Ayton and Grant for almost literally anything that's not a contract longer than what those guys respectively have.

Utah knows the assignment. Blazers still haven't committed to the youth movement like they should have. There shouldn't be a single player with more than 5 years NBA experience imo. The roster I want out there (assuming full health)...

Totally agree with WIZ on one key point.... So many variables (Chauncey being the elephant in the room) and a potential big trade coming with at least Grant on the move (Me thinky).... so very difficult to predict wins and losses this early on. I mentioned this a while back when I expressed optimism over the common doom and gloom, and was asked to give a prediction at that time of how many wins I thought we'd have.

I just threw out 35 to give a number and stated how unsure of that I was. Again, Lots of variables to consider. Two more obvious ones would be Injuries of course, but also the potential of some of our guys taking that leap forward in their development, and from the looks of things 8 games in, it looks like several of our young dogs are already showing signs of that happening.

Hate to use the Philly-branded statement but it is a process, will take some time for this team to gel and develop into a contender, but I have said from the beginning that I think the talent on this roster is stacked 1-15, and the biggest factor will be Chauncey, for better or worse. I, unlike most it seems, am willing to give him a mulligan so far considering we were tanking the last two years, but he needs to develop and get better at his job, just like any of our players are expected to do.

Sharpe and TL coming back should give us a boost too, so if I had to take an over/under on my 35, my optimism and fandom says 35+ and a good shot at making the play-in at least, and strongly believe we are buyers, not sellers. Upgrades and Wins Vs. "Addition by subtraction" and Tanking is what I think what we will see from Cronin. Also and again, That Greek guy in the Red and Black would be my absolute dream come true, but that is likely the finest of needles to thread.... but far from impossible IMO.

Obviously the Bucks and 76ers are going to improve. I mean, I would think so at least... The bucks were insane hiring Doc rivers and they fired the last 2 good coaches they had, but if they want to win they have to replace that clown. The 76ers will be fine when Joel comes back.

If Charlotte and NO pass Portland in the next 20 games or so (we are 2-8 in our last 10 games). We would be on track for a nearly 50% shot at a top 4 pick.

Clearly, the Blazers are not making a run this season, so the trade deadline could also be interesting.

The Blazers are ahead of my predicted pace. I'm surprised: the backcourt remains in shambles, and while center has been a strength when Clingan and Williams are on the floor, that's well under half the time. The team has been bad enough to have a worse record, but "credit" where it's due. They'll win more than 20.
