Excellent game from Randle. We obviously know what he can provide especially when he's on a heater.

I feel like Sabonis did something to him at some point because he sees red when playing Sabonis.

Divo seems like he needs a little adjustment time coming off the bench again.

I don't understand anyone who actually enjoys seeing former players fail. Especially these two who helped us win games.

I want the Knicks to win the trade but because KAT helps us win not because the Randle and Divo fail.

He is missing some good looks, too. Like KAT and Bridges, he'll fine his shot. Looking at the T-Wolves, the only weak links I'm seeing from these 2 games is McDaniels and Conley. Conley is a good dude and all, but he shouldn't be a starter in this league. I wouldn't be shocked if they try to experiment with Divo as the starting point guard since Randle and ANT can at least initate offense.

Yeah they might make a switch but I think they keep McDaniels in there for his defense and Conley to a lesser extent for that as well. If you have Divo in there you lack a POA defender. Not sure they want to use Ant even though he's a good defender that much in P&R action because he is so valuable on the offensive end.

Randle certainly plays better with Naz Reid as well. I feel the paint is too congested with Randle/Gobert.

NAW also looks really good I expect him to get more minutes especially if he's shooting the 3 as well as he has been. He is arguably there best perimeter defender as well.

I feel like eventually the Wolves should look to move Randle for a good starting caliber PG. Not because I think Randle is bad or anything but they just have so much depth at the 3/4 positions that it makes some sense to me to rebalance that a bit. When we made the trade I didn't understand the angle that Donte could be a pg for them. That's just not his skillset. Conley is ancient and isn't talented enough like a Steph or a CP3 was to age as gracefully as they did. He's better off in a 20-25 minute role a night and then unleash him in the playoffs. Similar to Kyle Lowry.

Yeah, Ruby/Randle/Daniels creates the same dyamntic we had with Mitch/Randle/RJ, so it's not shocking he'd play better with Reid.

I don't think McDaniels is as much of an issue as Conley, but McDaniels providing the donut on offense should be a concern for them. Mike just looks too slow out there and his shooting is off. As the season goes on, they're going to be attacking him more and more.

I don't think he's eligable for a trade before this season's deadline. But also,I think he's undoubtedly opting out of his contract, so I don't think it'll be a case where they can send him off for a point guard. Their needs PG is minimal. Don't turn it over, hit open 3's, play solid D. Right now, that ain't the case with Mike. Father time will alwayas win.

Regarding Donte, seems like it depends on what they view for their PG needs. I haven't sat down and watched a game from start to finish with the T-Wolves, but I've seen a lot of ANT and Randle dribbling the ball up. They're definitely experimenting with Donte operating as a lead guard to some extent. Certainly not in his skillset, but they want to maximize his time out there once he starts cooking.

I think we have seen a pretty good representation of Randle in his first 2 games for the Wolves, the good and the bad. In the end he will still ultimately be judged by how he performs in the playoffs just like KAT will be here too.

One thing I never paid attention to was how Julius would matchup against potential western conference playoff teams. He had great regular season numbers but not against the teams they would face in the eastern conference playoffs. The Kings weren't a playoff team last year either but seeing him matchup against a 35 year old Demar Derozan with Sabonis as a rim protector made me think about how he may have some easier matchups in the West.

I'm not sure yet but going up against playoff teams with Porzingis, Bam, Embiid, Turner, Lopez, the Magic's defense, Allen and Mobley in the paint seems like a much more difficult matchup for his offense than some that he will face in the west. He could benefit from switching conferences.

I still question his fit and overall impact on winning since you basically have to put the ball in his hands and hope he has a great game to negate some of the negative aspects of his game on both ends of the court when he does not have the ball in his hands. The fit still feels off to me. Rudy helps protect the paint behind him but is a terrible fit for spacing offensively with Randle and some of their other players. Reid helps open up the court offensively around Randle but they are a terrible defensive pairing together along with some of their other players too.

Also seeing Ant launch 14 threes a game feels strange. I don't know how much of that is by design or him adjusting to a life without KAT or something else. I know he worked on his long range shooting and was taking a ton of threes in the preseason with and without Randle on the court but I hope one of the most athletic and dynamic players in the game doesn't just become another 3 point chucker.

Seems to be by design. KAT or no KAT, ANT was working on his 3 point shot in the Summer. His form is a bit different.
