Makes me wonder how long Chauncey will remain as coach if the team gets beat by another 30+ points
tonight.

A friend and I were talking about this after the abysmal first game and he thinks Chauncey’s over/under for still having a job was 20.5 games. I took the under cause I hope he doesn’t make it past 10 games.

Looking at the Blazer schedule, it wouldn't shock me if the Blazers only won 4-5 games in the first 40.

2 games vs. Spurs
2 vs. Utah
1 vs. Atlanta
1 vs. Brooklyn
1 vs. Chicago.

Seem potentially winnable. They might win 2 or 3 of those, plus they'll probably get hot and beat a couple of teams they aren't supposed to...

EDIT: Sorry, meant to put this in the prediction thread.

Team still wants fans to spend the $120 for Blazer vision. Getting beat on a nightly basis by 20-30 points
isn't going to inspire many to cough up that $120

It'd be interesting who would take over on an interim basis for there was a lot of turnover from last
years staff.

Too bad while they are trying to sort out where we are supposed to watch the games, they could lift the
blackout and allow cable/satellite fans to watch the out of market feed on the league pass

It will be interesting to see if NO dares POR to shoot from the outside. I think the book has been out on POR for a while, they don't shoot well from outside and they don't get back on transition defense. Hard to win games with those two major flaws.

Even with Dejounte Murray out, Zion likely playing, Ingram, CJ & Herb Jones, could be a tough task.

Curious to watch Jordan Hawkins, if NO was interested in one of POR centers, I would not mind him being part of the deal coming back.

The fact that they've waited this long leads me to believe if a move is made it wont be until the off season

120 isn't bad honestly but yes a lot for a losing product

I could see them fire Chauncey and replace him with an interim coach to buy time and keep the fans from revolting.

Maybe but I also think many fans are tuned out until they're better anyhow

Blazers playing pretty well overall, and Pelicans playing poorly...and that point differential isn't big enough.

Game one - Scoot had highest points and lowest +/- on team by halftime.
2:38 min to halftime - Deni with lowest points (0) and highest +/- (14)..

Dude you are just never happy. Lol. Sounding like a blazers fan. They are winning 4 games in the first half of the season, now they’re not “winning enough”. I can’t make this up

New Orleans doing a much better job defending the outlet pass on drives in that 2nd quarter. Lots of Blazer players doing little things that don't show up in the box score, which is nice to see.

Looks like Clingan might be sick or something.
