We were spoiled for a long time with JV/Ibaka/Gasol. And we got Biyombo's best year as well. Paying the price now I guess but at least Poeltl is a starting caliber C.

Biyombo was a backup and so were JV/Ibaka at times.

Regardless, we just went through 3 years of a no-C experiment and now we're tanking. No need to pay a back-up big. This is how you lose games.

With Barnes and Boucher out there, Mogbo is the obvious choice unless the other team has an Embiid on the floor. Darko's too stupid to adjust.

To be clear, I hate the guy too. But I'm happy we're not spending more than the minimum on a back-up big body C. Give me losses and let me cope with it through my Fernando hate. win/win.
