Damn :)

for such an anal "fact checker", claiming that I said Edey is GOING TO have the offensive impact of Shaq is a blatant falsehood

should get banned for baiting, he knows i clearly said that it's possible and dependent on what i stated including how he's used, not guaranteed

Ah that's a completely reasonable take then. My bad.

i'd rather he figure it out on the fly in a game against other professionals

It's probably not going to come anytime soon. There's a lot on his plate right now, he's learning to shoot, guarding a new position and trying to learn to finish over NBA defenders.

Mogbo is going for a 5x5 at this rate
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Halftime summary:

Poeltl best raptor so far
Agbaji, Mitchell showing effort
Gradey a little off from shooting, but as well with a lot of effort
Scottie decent, but not enough for the #1 guy

Impressed by Mogbos hustle,
Battle and Shead also contributed

Bruno a catastrophe and
Carlton, i havent even noticed he played

Raps have 11 blocks at the half. 23 is the record for a game held by Raps.

11/3/4 is no impact?

Didn’t realize he even had 11 points. Seems like he should be doing more considering his teammates are scrubs

We watching the same game? Dudes made the right play the majority of the game. Good drives and kick outs, set up Mitchell and shaed for three spot up threes 9points right there. If you want him to chuck 30 shots a game you don’t know basketball at all.

Mogbo's been ok this game. He can be a good bench role player if he develops his game, plays within himself, and learn to shoot. But then I thought the same of Achiuwa and he never could do it so we'll see.

Hopefully Mogbo can turn out to be a valuable bench piece.

He's only 23, can't shoot, and isn't the best finisher at the rim.

But he makes good reads, defends well, is a strong rebounder, and runs the floor well.

Some good stuff in that first half. With such a young team there are obviously going to be some mistakes.

I really liked what Mogbo showed in that first half. And Shead also showed some good playmaking, even if he isn't quite making the impact he made in the first game.

Unfortunately, Gradey isn't having a very good game so far. And it's not just because the shot isn't falling. His movement hasn't really led to any advantages, and he's made a couple of focus mistakes on both offence and defence. Hopefully he picks it up in the second half.

And that out of bounds was probably equally off Jakob and Gordon so I can see why they couldn't overturn it. But you could also tell from the replays that the ref who made the call had absolutely no clear view of the play. That was some BS. He was behind the play and his vision was totally blocked by Scottie.

Agreed. Has clear limitations but he's aware of them and plays within himself for the most part. Potential is definitely there.

Mogbo can dribble the ball

Og shot 37% from 3 as a rookie. I’ve ragged on og a lot for his awkwardness with the ball, but he was more impactful than mogbo and was more offensively skilled despite defense being his calling card.

Man, Walter is really staying under the radar. Hopefully he just comes out and shocks everyone with his play. We forget he was drafted in the first round over all these other rookies lol

14 turnovers that half, over half of them were easily avoidable.

Mogbo and Precious are in two different stratospheres. Please don't ever compare the two players.
