Second chance points are keeping the Sixers in this game

Fernando is such a massive negative that unless we're playing Embiid or Jokic, I'd much rather Mogbo get the backup minutes at the 5 until Olynyk comes back. I realize that they're trying to develop Mogbo's wing skills, but I'm not sure how much more I can take of Fernando.

Wanting more and saying he has no impact are two different things....

Scottie Barne's impact is disappointing given his expectations

just my opinion

1.5 games.

just my opinion.

True, but 7 of them were from Gradey, Mogbo, and Shead. Young players are going to make mistakes. It's all part of the process we're going to have to live with. But I'm confident that all three are smart enough players that they'll learn from those mistakes and keep getting better.

Yeah, going to have to live with some mistakes especially with the emphasis on moving the ball and pushing the pace the way we do.

lol. I didn't bait a Shaq comp out of you. You said it yourself.

And it's not balls of steel. It's insane.

i literally was higher on mogbo than anyone on this board and i'm getting flamed for wanting a player i was even higher on :noway:

You're getting flamed for saying Edey has the potential of Shaq "if used right" and claiming Filipowski is an obvious star.

Yep, the Raptors' defence has actually been pretty good. Just need to finish the possession.

Agreed. Has clear limitations but he's aware of them and plays within himself for the most part. Potential is definitely there.

Yeah the "aware of them" part is very important.

It's what drive people nuts about Precious. Didn't play within himself until he went to NY. Nurse didn't reel him in.

He looked pretty meh in preseason. Didn’t really see any nba skill that stood out

So did Gradey. Patience.

LOL Gradey was good in preseason when he played.

To take the leap into superstardom and or be the face of the franchise he needs to score in an offence first league

He hasnt shown me any improvement from last year, skill wise or mentality wise, this aint 1.5 games into a rookie season

Until Mogbo starts jacking up 3s like Precious did, I'll take Mogbo any day.

The criticism here is worth it, mostly because

1. He scored all that in the 1st
2. You know he's capable of more, this is the same guy that can put up a Jokic stat line on any given night

People gotta stop expecting Barnes to be a 1st option scoring wise... he'll give you everything else but that.
