Celtics gave up an 11-0 run and let these guys think they’re still in this. Joe still needs to nip it in the bud earlier

Tatum, not the rest of the NBA, will be the single biggest reason he does not get an MVP.

He just can not stop taking lazy, ill advised, low pct, over dribbling 3 point shots.

that often leads Brown to Go ISO as well. or vice versa.

Honestly it’s the inconsistent offense that’s leading to bad defense. When we start with the iso ****, it leads to transition buckets or scrambling defense cos we can’t match up.

The Celtic rim protection is just not the same without KP.

There was a letdown to end the 2nd qtr., but I don't think that's a bad thing because it will remind the Celtics that nothing's easy in the NBA.

When Brown said Boston will be battling complacency. He really meant Tatum and himself.

Let's be honest, our defense has left a lot to be desired this season so far. All masked by our ultra-high-octane offense.

22 points and 5-10 from 3pt land.

18 minutes and JT already has 22 points.

Think about that.

I don’t think you’re going to see that in the regular season much. I think he showed last year he’ll let them play more often than not in the regular season and try different things then lock in for the playoffs, call timeouts, etc.

I thought Joe had a bad first year in the playoffs but honestly made all the right calls last year. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for this regular season.

It's just not realistic to expect the Cs to be ALWAYS at their best in an 82-game season.

Cs are leading by 11 points at halftime.

Can't win every time by 20 or more.

Enjoy the ride!

Yeah and if he misses 2 or 3 of those lazy over dibbling step back shots per game in an 82 game season, even with some makes, his 3 pct. will drop and he will end up too inefficient Again to get what he probably really wants (So do I) and that is MVP.

yeah I'm not worried about what I've seen from tatum tonight at all. It's Brown who has been needlessly forcing it.

Well, that's on JT.

But if the Cs keep winning then it doesn't matter if he's MVP or not.

Obviously a title is top choice for me, but am I the Only one who wants Tatum to be an MVP??

- Celtics have gone rusty in the Rust Belt...

- Jane says, "I'm done with Sergio, he treats me like a ragdoll!"

- No Hauser, has led to more double big lineups and not very satisfying results.

It bugs me that on a day at the half

Tatum is 8-14 including 5-10 from 3 (22 points)
Horford is 6-9 including 5-8 from 3 (17 points)
Pritch is 4-7 including 4-6 from 3 (16 points)

Jaylen is chucking 5-15. He could give some of those shots to Pritch. Just the right thing to do.

We've been pretty good in the 3rd quarter so far. I think the defense is about to get turned up a notch.

True.

I think we just have to accept that JB will be JB sometimes.

JT has until 2034 to do that.
