It's just worrisome that our franchise player still cannot score in the half court, and seems like the same player as last season.
He's honestly looking and trending more like a good player than a great one.
He will most likely get better as the season goes on and guys come back healthy. He started to get more aggressive towards the end and any time he touched it in the half court he faced multiple defenders. It was never going to be something he just excelled at within 3 games into the new season. This is going to be a full season of progressing.
We already know Barnes started his career with no offensive moves. He's not suddenly going to come into a new season - his first as the #1 guy and suddenly be Kevin Durant. It's going to be especially struggling while teams don't have to focus on anyone else on this team too. I'm curious to see how this all progresses as the season goes on and teams actually have others they need to also guard.
