Wemby just posted a 5x5 game:

9 rebounds
7 assists
5 steals
5 blocks
He was +43 in 34 minutes of play. San Antonio was -25 in the 14 minutes he sat.

Dame was impressive and not in a good way.

So...Im going through the biggest trades of the last half decade where a team paid max/market value (Multiple 1st/swaps) for a star.
In no particular order...Its beyond bad:
KD => Suns
Gobert => TWolves
PG13 => LAC
Dejonte => ATL
Bridges => NYK
Lillard => Bucks
Harden => Nets
Westbrook => Houston
The ONLY ones that are even arguable is the Donovan Mitchell trade, and I dont think that is a clear win.
Guys... were arent talking about 'losing' the trade. We are talking about crippling a franchise for at least a half decade when it comes to most of these.
In a few years, the Suns, LAC, and Bucks will be absolute trash.

Why is Van Vleet getting 38 minutes a night when his replacement is sitting there unable to develop due to this. Fred has a team option this summer as well.

What is up with Ryan Dunn? He would have gone top 10 for sure if he could shoot but his shot was awful in college, low 50s from the ft line and low 20s from 3.
So far this season he has made 11 3s shooting 44%.

Yahoo linked an article about Dunn, so-far the steal of the draft (although a lot of rookies are not getting minutes), the Suns have turned the team around with the additions of Jones and Dunn, Brittle Beal is still not playing.

Hopefully he resumes his podcast somewhere else.

Yeah, he isn't podcasting anywhere right now, which is really sad. I wonder if he is still under contractual obligations with ESPN whereby he is not allowed to podcast (and they are still paying him).

Zach should take it to YouTube like Bill Simmons and the others, he can earn a living there.

Their drafting has been terrible.
First round draft picks since 2016:
'16 - Thon Maker. Sabonis was taken right after. We have Siakam, Murray in that draft as well
'17 - DJ Wilson. John Collins was there. Jarrett Allen, OG, Kuzma, Derrick White, Josh Hart
'18 - DDV. Nice pick.
'19 - Kevin Porter Jr. Daniel Gafford was there, Claxton
'20 - RJ Hampton. Quickly, Pritchard, Jaden McDaniels, Bane were all there.
'21 - They picked up Todd in the 2nd round, but had they kept the pick, Herb Jones was there.
The list goes on, they didn't work the margins. The fact that they won a championship speaks to Giannis. It's an aging roster, bad drafting and future picks are in doubt. The smart play would be to move Giannis for everything and start over.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Smooth. I think I was the only ZR believer in the draft thread. I appreciate how game ready he has been on defense, nice to see his offense has been catching up.
