Maxey been great

I don’t know why the media loves Haliburton so much. He is horrific on defence. They give so many players grief for being one way guys but not him. Maybe the team USA connection. To me he is no different than Trae Young.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

It’s cause his play before he got injured was otherworldly efficient.

Was leading the most efficient offence in nba history putting up 20/10 every night damn near. He’s really fallen off since January though.

Yes but players have ups and downs. They latch onto his hot streaks more. Last year Pacers were a gimmick and other team’s players played along cause it was their chance to get easy numbers too. Everyone gets paid.

Wild finish, mistakes on both sides. Nick was really pumped to win that one.

Yup, he had a few months last season where he was playing out of his mind. Since he’s been very average offensively and terrible defensively. Siakam going to have to have some monster games if they want to compete with the big dogs.

Maybe. But say they get their mojo back to last season's form. Sixers get Embiid and PG back. Cavs looking strong. Those three plus NYK and Boston make a very strong 5 at the top of the East, plus Orlando coming. Everyone talks about the West but the East is powerful too.

The difference is that many east teams seem thinner so more impacted by injury and the 7 to 15 slots are radically worse.

honestly, the celtics are far and above the rest of the conference and there's no one out west that really seems on their level either. the cavs may well be the 2nd best team in the east and no one's really scared of them with their lack of impact wings and the celtics would just space them out in an actual series. okc might threaten them but they have to prove they can get through the playoff gauntlet first.

As the Pelicans and Bucks are losing to tanking teams, I can’t help but think that a deal around Lopez and stuff for Ingram makes sense for both teams. Lopez looks cooked yes but the Pelicans have no 5. And the Bucks last ditch to me will be Giannis at the 5.

Maxey is out there giving game 7 of the Finals effort for game 3. I don't think the Pacers are even aware the season has started yet.

He really is one of the worst defensive players in the entire league, along with Trae (good comp there) and Olynyk.

Is the giannas dominance over? It really feels like the league have figured him out the last few years.

I think trading for Siakam and subsequently giving him the max was done by the Pacers with the thinking that Haliburton would be a semi-permanent All-NBA type player going forward. He certainly looked like one prior to getting hurt last year.

He's looked kind of sus to start this season but he's pretty much the same age as Barnes so there are certainly going to be ups and downs. As a Rap fan, I hope he continues to struggle to improve the value of the 2026 pick the Raps own.
