It's just laziness

It's difficult to come up with good jokes. It's easy to just say bigoted sh*t and go "it's just a joke! I've been cancelled!"

And it becomes really obvious when you watch the really bad ones, they say something bigoted, get a few chuckles, then say "I'm gonna be cancelled for that!" to uproarious applause, cause that's the real joke. The joke isn't the joke, the joke is they said something bigoted.
