KCP is a journeyman role player that benefited from being paired with Jokic and Murray. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This fan base is so starved of player validation, wanting to come here, that they acted liked they were getting an allstar that was going to change the system. No, you got an upgraded less streaky Gary Harris AND Gary Harris.

Maybe KCP will change my mind throughout the season, but it’s looking like a pretty validated assessment of his game.

I don't think anyone really felt different than this though? He's a good role player and that's what he'll be here.

And also the alternatives weren't really there? You were seemingly adamant about not spending the money on Paul George and any point guard upgrade would have needed to come via trade presumably.

KCP has been elite on defense so far. He has the best defensive FG% in the league including all positions.

KCP is teaching spacing and getting to your spots on the floor.

KCP is also coaching players on other things he is seeing.

KCP has been fantastic so far. He will start hitting his shots.

Imagine KCP talking to Paolo about what he learned playing with Jokic.

KCP also won’t block Black or Jett from the starting lineup in 2 years.

KCP is 10x more valuable when we get to the playoffs.

I didn’t watch the game because I was out Saturday, but I read we had 19 turnovers for 30 points and also went on a 21-0 run? And we’re worried about the guard rotation and scheme?

Let’s just let the coach get them to execute. Obviously it’s working, but every team can have a bad or sloppy game.

LOL. I was expecting some lock down defensive highlights and knock down 3s….

It felt like we played way too fast of a pace. I know it’s terrifying letting Ja and JJJ do slower half-court possessions, but the MAGIC have the more dangerous slow pace, half-court offense. And we need it usually in a Playoffs matchup. We had some beautiful multiple pass possessions near the end of shot clocks. And Paolo, Franz drives were either unstoppable, or racking up MEM fouls.
