Rodri has won the 2024 Ballon d\'Or, finishing first ahead of Vinicius and Jude Bellingham. Rodri led Manchester City to another Premier League title as well as Spain to winning the European championship.
“An incredible night for me,” Rodri said after receiving the trophy from George Weah, a previous winner who spent a brief spell at City in 2000. “Today is a very special day, not just for me but for my family and my country.”
Rodri is out for the season with a torn ACL.
