Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
Knicks D got COOKED by the Celtics. And Porzingis didn't even play.
They would've been better off with AARP Horford at C than trading for KAT.

The Knicks went 11 of 30 from deep for a respectable 36.67%. The Celtics went 29 of 61 from deep for an amazing 47.54. It’s bad enough when your opponent shoots double your 3s, hits 18 more than you, but when they do it at 47.5% you’re kinda ******. Defense would help, but that is hard to survive.

Re: Around the NBA (Part Two)
The Celtics starting 5 shot 26/41 on 3 pointers (63.4%). That's insane.
Their Bench shot 3/20. (15%)

Phoenix and Mil got caught being a bit too top heavy last season after their big trades, but they both quality players on minimums as a result the small amount of available space for FAs last year
top 4 in conference wouldn't be surprising

In the first two (2) games without George and Embiid, Maxey has shot 6-23 (2-12 on 3's) and 10-31 (2-9 on 3's).
I vow to never disparage Ant for an inefficient game on offense all season.

Jay Huff was playing well in SL. Against MIN as well. I wish we gave him our two-way contract.

Seeing the play of Cunningham and Ivey today makes me more than confident wolves will be getting their late lotto pick in 2026 or 2027, signing Harris was a giant mistake for
The Pistons though.

Signing Harris wasn't a mistake. He provides key floor spacing and veteran leadership for a team without any semblance of leadership.
It's always so funny to me when a team adds a veteran, all the young players play better and the team starts winning, but the veteran isn't putting up eye-popping stats and then fans blame the veteran. Like bro, Cade and Ivey needed structure, spacing and veterans to win. Harris does that.

Bucks should never have fired Griffin. If your record is more games over .500 than you have in losses, then you're not a bad coach, I don't care what Giannis and LIllard say in their little sly remarks after the games. They probably just couldn't handle a coach telling them what to do.

Coach Griffin was a nightmare behind-the-scenes, just a huge dick. He deserved to be fired (the replacement is the problem).

Lakers look determined and with purpose this year (maybe not DLo). Davis is playing like the best player in the league. Looks like he got over all those injuries. Lakers going to end up top 4 replacing DEN.

I watch a quarter of the SAS game and can't figure out what they are trying to do. Wemby is making scoring way to hard for a 7 footer. Maybe they just want to stay in the Cooper Flagg league this year.

Lakers are absolutely improved. I know some people think coaching doesn't make a difference, but I'd argue otherwise. And I am a believer in Redick. I think he's on the Ty Lue track, at least.
