More succinctly, you cannot have Pat Riley assembling a roster. He so falls in love with his decisions, that these players can get worse as time goes on, and he will never second guess his own decision to acquire them.

Honestly this all falls on the front office as years of poor building around Bam and Butler and refusal to go with more traditional lineups and seeking a defensive identity from the coaching staff has left us with this chit product.
