1) I like how KAT responds with a huge game after last game with 7 attempts. This version of KAT deserves a Randle and a DDV.

2) A facilitating Brunson is much nore threatening than a scoring-first Brunson. He needs to realize that his teammates are also capable of scoring and when opponents throw double team to you there must be someone wide open.

3) Hart's consecutive double double streak continues. Ridiculously helpful to this team especially during the time without Mitch and Precious.

Brunson is our PG and he will lead us to many many wins

Hart is great for a guy who only "runs around like crazy messing up stuff" LOL. Preseason, how many posters here wanted us to get rid of him? He was saving his juice for working so hard during the season. Next summer, if anybody says Hart is worthless, they deserve only STFU and GTFO.

Sooooo he can bait with anti KAT posts 24/7 and referencing people but the second that normal posters have a chance to serve him some crow we can't now?

This is what enables his behavior, that has not changed one bit since we spoke.

Cap gave him a break the other day because it was getting too much and taking away from the basketball convos. This isn't helping either. No one is getting away with it anymore. You can talk the game...agree disagree but the baiting needs to stop especially if someone isn't initiating it.

The anti KAT spamming has been dealt with. That doesn't mean a poster can't be critical of the trade or criticize any player for bad play. It just can't be spammed to the point its just inciting and baiting other posters. We are trying to correct to make the forum enjoyable for everyone.

Keep KAT aggressive, he got what it takes to average 30ppg but it seems he got the personality he doesn't wanna take it (perhaps he wants to avoid being labeled as selfish/ domineering), rather he only does it IF the whole team and organization want him to do it.

It may be what happened over in Minny, he was the 1st option, the whole team wanted him to be #1 option, then Ant came in and the team shifted and wanted Ant to be #1, and KAT willingly relinquished it.

Just keep feeding him, but it's important for JB to keep scoring too without making KAT feel he should relinquish it back to JB.

He reminds of Rasheed on the offensive end, in the sense that he doesn’t feel the need to score or take shots unless the team absolutely needs it.

The difference is imo deep down KAT wants to be #1 option, but he doesn't even know it himself cuz for a long time he's been acting like he doesn't want to be #1 out of deep shame/ fear of being labeled as selfish/ domineering... this psychological knot has to be fixed by the person themselves, noone else/ even the best psychologist, unfortunately... he has to get over that shame/ fear first and only then he can own his desire and therefore get over his desire

Will be interesting to see what they do with mitch or his contract. We could use another wing to ease off mikal and og mins.

we certainly can use a bench scoring threat thats for sure. I know we stagger but Deuce is the only one that can score off the bench and I don't trust Cam Payne at all in that regards.

However I do really see the value to have Mitch....Bam is one of the best bigs but there are some matchups vs Philly where we will really need Mitch. I'm torn. We will see where we are when he's back healthy.

Mitch is almost a theory at this point. He would be nice against the cavs or 6ers but it's going to be hard to rely on him being there when we need him. I'd rather get og/mikal some relief and develop huk. I just can't trust mitchs health anymore.

thats fair maybe at some point its a 2 for 1 type deal where we can nba a backup big and a swing to fit into his salary.

There are certainly teams as you pointed out Philly and CLE that he will be super valuable against and those are two teams we might likely face so I'm not running to give him away but I do see your point about not being able to trust him even when he gets back. Team might need a more reliable option off the bench.

KAT needs to be fed early and often to get him into the flow. Brunson has the ball a lot so he can turn into a scorer and closer whenever he wants. But KAT isn't Randle he's just not going to ISO at the top of the key and take bad shots. That is why those two have completely different EFF as players.

KAT plays more within the flow. The difference is you need players to find him and give him touches...he doesn't demand the ball in the same way Randle does. Which makes Randle probably easier assimilate with someone like Brunson who has more of a score first mentality.

Brunson needs to be more of a PG and playmaker with KAT. There is an adjustment period.

Im open to exploring it since this part of the season seems really experimental anyways. Was nice to see KAT his some middies today.

to start the game...absolutely. You need to see what KAT has. If he's smokin' hot like tonight you feed the hot hand.

If anything getting KAT going early will just open the floor up for the rest of the team especially Brunson late.

Brunson will still fall into his 20-30 a night and he certainly will be the closer in crunch time. But KAT needs to be the focal point out of the gate.

the biggest thing that worries me about KAT is the silly fouls...he picked up another 2 OFF fouls today and that can't happen. He also had a couple bad reach in fouls.

In big games especially playoffs we need him out there. He has always been silly foul prone. That worries me.
