For everybody panicking after the Cavs loss .These guys are still learning each other. It's going to take a little time to gel.

Any win against a team with Jimmy and Bam...on the road...is a good win in my book.
Shoutout Josh Hart, too. 10/14/6!
Not sure about KAT long-term at center, but if he's dropping 40 regularly, I'll shut my mouth!

Had a crazy 13 hour day and missed the game. However, I just saw the replay and the KNICKS were on fiya!!
Big Purr was nowhere near 'Soft.' You love to see it.

Great showing tonight.
Do you think we see Matt Ryan come in at some point to take Cam Payne's minutes? At some point we're going to need some more bench scoring and it doesn't seem like Shamet is coming back anytime soon.

Great win.
KAT reminding us why he is top 3 center in the league.
It would be amazing if he can provide defensive presence like iHart did for us.
This team is not even close to being complete.

Definitely - and KAT looks like he could be 80% of what iHart was as a facilitator

on top of that what did Bam make 3 shots all game...what a dominate performance man. Really can project what this team can do clicking on all cylinders.
Get Precious back soon instead of Sims and we should be cooking
Will be interesting to see what they do with mitch or his contract. We could use another wing to ease off mikal and og mins.
we certainly can use a bench scoring threat thats for sure. I know we stagger but Deuce is the only one that can score off the bench and I don't trust Cam Payne at all in that regards.
However I do really see the value to have Mitch....Bam is one of the best bigs but there are some matchups vs Philly where we will really need Mitch. I'm torn. We will see where we are when he's back healthy.
we still have Shamet and Ryan and the four rookies
Sims, Payne and a pick for another wing... or off the waivers
PS: Mitch and Payne for Jerami Grant works perfectly salary wise... but for this we need to make sure that Hukporti can play at very high level even this season as a rookie
Strength and Honour!

Re: PG: Knicks vs Heat: 10/30/24
Salute to Josh tonight, I ate some good $hit. But mark my words, he will be the pawn that Boston uses in their scheme against us. Not even worried about these bumas s teams in the 3rd,4th game of the regular season. Won't even be vested like that until January when we have a full squad and starting to click into gears.
But Boston. That's what I want to see. I had nightmares when I figured out wtf they're doing.
For people that don't understand, Boston has a plan. They created it last year and this year it's perfected. Ever wonder what would happen if a team said you know what, **** it, we aren't going to guard one guy AT ALL, what is he gonna do, score 100 points?
That's what Boston is doing this year. They pick one guy out on the floor, and refuse to guard him. Create a wall around the three point line and dare him to take them. Anybody else tries to make a move, immediate double. No penetration, try to out shoot them from outside. And as a team that takes what the defense gives us rather than create our own, we fall into their trap. "This guy" will have to shoot, create, and make decisions on the floor.
This is where Josh's indecisiveness will rear it's ugly head. If he starts going in and being aggressive, yamming it, I'm all for it. My concern is that he's not built like that, and Boston will make him pay. Nick Nurse tried this already last year, it's in the scouting report, but they didn't have Boston's firepower and couldn't out bully us...and Josh hit some shots that even his supporters must admit surprised them.
I want to see him take the next level, go to the damn hoop to score first and make defenses pay, something other than hustle. My grocery bagger take was facetious, I know what he means and does for us, but in the end, he's gonna be a target and hopefully not the hero that turns into the New York goat that comes to slaughter after being exposed by Boston. You know you guys are fickle like that.
Hopefully I'm still eating $hit in July. Some hot, steamy Josh Hart is an NBA champion $hit.

Thank you, KAT, for curing me from a severe case of center envy that has been plaguing me for the better part of the last quarter century.

$29,793,104 vs $14,318,182 + $2,087,591 ??
Maybe you meant Mitch plus Hart for Grant??

What you saw last night is exactly what Kenny Atkinson is terrified of and does not want to see the Knicks doing.
Vs the Cavs, if the team focused on feeding the KAT, especially after we had that double digit lead in the third, the Knicks would have sent the Cavs back to their wasteland in a hearse

Speaking of the Cavs at least KAT didn’t get abused by their bigs like Anthony Davis last night

Jimmy Butler is either checked-out or washed. He’s going through the motions

Seeing Payne pass more was great. Seeing Sims not so much. I was afraid because Ariel's stat line wasn't eye popping against Cleveland that he'd be back on the bench behind Sims.

Jimmy is going through the motions. I see nothing out there that's inspiring. He wanted his extension.
Not sure what's up with Bam. He may have Olympic hangover. Most players generally have the opposite, but that's the only thing I can think of.
