Curry being single name feels lonely compared to the other threads, but the 2nd can be added when they get Butler or Durant or something at the deadline (or Kuminga is just awesome).

Great way to start the season - near triple double but the lead was so big he never played in the fourth

Petition to change the title to ‘Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield 24-25 NBA Season Thread’ – at least for as long as this joyous ride is lasting.

Warriors next 5 games: Houston, Washington, Boston, Cleveland, OKC - all on the road
They did well to start 4-1 and grab 2 wins without Steph, but this next road trip will be a real test

If they go 2-3 or better it will be a good result. Going 3-2 or more would be crazy

Yeah. 2-3 is the goal, and a great team goes 3-2.

Actually a crazy start. The only thing that can account for this is coaching. This has to be Kerr's best performance ever. He managed to optimize this same core into a title level team by all indications. Absolutely no one saw this coming.
Swinging for the fences.

So it's 8 games. Just 8 games. And there's a bunch of stuff going on which isn't sustainable over a whole season. It's still "Pump the Brakes" o'clock at the moment.

Re: Stephen Curry 24-25 NBA Season Thread
Coaching has been real good, but obviously a lot of credit should go to the players.
Loon looks incredible after a season last year where he looked like he was falling off a cliff quickly. 8 boards a game in 16 MPG so far, highest rebounds per 36 of his career.
Buddy and Kyle have fit in perfectly. Wiggs has looked good. Draymond doing things defensively no 34 year old should be able to do.
Yes it's early, but we are having fun

There are no indications a team is a title level through 10 games coming off of a season where they missed the playoffs the season prior. Right now Hield is shooting out of his mind and its not like they added a top 20 player or are getting back a top 20 player from injury. So I mean maybe they are still a top 3 seed come April but there's a difference between contending for a top 4 seed and being title level.

I think what is most exciting GSW fans is the return of their defense and the injection of some extra scoring/shooting. That puts them right back on the map of teams which will be very interesting once the playoffs start.

Its also interesting because they are doing it with Steph missing games and only putting up 20ppg. So the question is does the bottom eventually drop out as they come back down to Earth or does Steph go back to being a top 5ish type player which allows them to win 53+ games. I have no idea but the west is loaded with 50-55 win type teams. So maybe they claw their way to a 3 seed or drop down all the way down to 7-8 which might only be a matter of 4-5 wins.
