It's never fine when lesser players box your best players out of the offense.

I think some people just want a scapegoat. Herro isn't taking shots from Jimmy, he's getting everything in the flow of the offense. It's on Jimmy to be more aggressive.

Can't really complain about hero. He worked on weak aspects of his game like driving and defense. He is not top defender but can play good enough d to slow down shooters some. Not as much of liability of d from previous season and that could be team defense is better

I can because he's soaking up a ton of shots that he has no business taking. He will never accept his natural role on the team. He thinks he's a star. He's proven that over and over again while scrubbing his way to poor efficiency 20 ppg averages.
And now we have two of him.

Is this guy legit as a source at all?
Depends on if you think CBS Sports is legit.
"Teams are circling -- and hopeful," one Western Conference team executive said.
"I wouldn't be surprised if it happened by the trade deadline," said a top executive of a team that could be in the mix.
An Eastern Conference NBA executive has already heard the places believed to be Giannis' would-be preferred destinations: "The teams I've heard are Miami and New York -- the Nets, not the Knicks."

He also does a CBS Sports Podcast on the NBA with John Gonzalaz called Beyond the Arc.

At this point no, but you were asking for young inexperienced players to play and learn right?

Giannis can go eat the poop. We had massive space set aside for ole boy and he chose to stay. That effectively wrecked our team for multiple years based on how we tried to rebound from that. He can go to NY.

well at least we have moved past the point of blaming Herro on defense.....
now we have to worry about EVERYONE sucking on defense....

I was....and I am cool with it.....
if it was up to me...I would roll with the rookie at center, and Jovic at the 3....and let it shake out for a few games.
but I am cool with loosing.....just not cool with lack of effort....

Houston as a trade partner is very interesting.

Re: 2024-25 Regular Season Thread Vol. 1
If we were going to trade with Milwaukee, I would just be thinking, Bam can't go, Jimmy they would not want, so it is everything else. Also makes little sense for Milwaukee to keep Lillard.
Heat:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $48,787,676
Damian Lillard - $48,787,676
Bucks:
Tyler Herro - $29,000,000
Terry Rozier - $24,924,126
Duncan Robinson - $19,406,000
Haywood Highsmith - $5,200,000
Kel'el Ware - $4,231,800
Jaime Jaquez Jr - $3,685,800
Nikola Jovic - $2,464,200
Pelle Larsson - $1,157,153
All our picks and pick swaps.
Pretty close on salary, but give up a lot of shooting that would make sense with Giannis.
