The window was frightening small in hindsight.

All the bad drafting, scouting, developing and trading away all our picks has finally come back and gotten us all at once.

i watched the miami series 2 years ago.... saw the reaction was to can bud..... and i knew in my gut that was it.

dame trade perked my interest but after 5 games it was obvious the soul of the team was gone.

the guys play all wrong now. its not good basketball. were not just not good. we actually kinda suck

Soulless, no identity, icky vibes... however you want to phrase it, I think you're right. This team is just lame and off in a way that is not correlative to the individual players talents

Why did you watch a Giannis PG possession?

It's our best offense, but far. Giving the ball to Dame has ruined us

I don't think anyone could have expected that Middleton would essentially not play again when we won the championship. We look dysfunctional, but he has come back other times and fixed this problem for us.

Said last year dame was this generations Gary Payton for our team. Unfortunately we have to live with it for 2 years vs half a season

Purely gut feel/watching and no stats to back it up- but I think the few minutes a game that Pat brings the ball up/initiates a play are generally surprisingly efficient.

I guess if I were trying to frame this optimistically I'd say our biggest problem is effort. Like, maybe they actually start trying and it starts to look good?

I think many people expected that.

Dame is easily the most overrated player in the league.

I have, historically, been as big of a Middleton hater as exists on this board, and after we won the championship he looked like a top 20 player in the league and was healthy. He even went on to win a gold with the US team. Since then nothing. I didn't expect it.

Did Dre just pass up a pretty obvious dunk situation?

If Dame is on, he's Steph, if he's off he's completely worthless.

I said it last season and I will say it again.

Dame is the reason they need to re-do the 75th anniversary team.

I predicted we mostly played 0.500 ball all year but had one good run it us that got is into the high 40s. Right now that one good run might get us back to 0.500. Wow.

Expecting Middleton to fix whatever the hell this has become is expecting way too much out of him.
