There’s too much talent on this team to be this bad. There’s something else going on.

Coming in with low expectations, seeing this team just flat out suck is shocking. I don’t have anything to say, just sad to watch this team get dominated every night.

Not one ATTEMPT at a change defensively from Doc & Co.
Frankly insane. Feels like they got 3-4 uncontested lobs a quarter.

This forum has become the chair in the corner of the hotel room, from where we sit and watch our Bucks get absolutely destroyed by a different team every night.

Re: PG Memphis - 1-4
We need Khris back asap.
Play at a faster pace with energy.
Work hard and show total commitment to the team. Like we saw Giannis doing today.
We don’t need slow, deliberate movements.
It is hard to fathom what other changes can be made.
Giannis is the main starter who is playing with the bench. It works only partially. Maybe Doc should try replacing Giannis in that situation with someone else, Dame or Khris I suppose.
The other dramatic option is to try Johnson for more minutes. At this point, we will probably lose badly, but we will get energy, huge acceleration at the pg position. Play Johnson with the bench roster of course.
Start searching for a new innovative coach perhaps from Europe or from the US college ranks. Brad Stevens was great for the Celtics.

You could very well be right but I have no idea what it might be.

In the 4th the Dame/Wright/Ajax/Prince/Giannis lineup was good defensively and we got back 10 quick points.
Surround Dame with defenders and make Giannis a C
Give Livingston and Umude a run
Gotta work with what we have until Dec trades

Yeah.. I remember getting ripped for saying that Doc would "let the players figure it out"... except, our players aren't high IQ ... so that doesn't work, does it.. we need to be micro managed unfortunately even though we're old

That falls squarely on Giannis. He did not want a micro manager head coach after Bud, Horst and ownership complied.

Re: PG Memphis - 1-4
About 13 months ago, most of the NBA Fandom and almost everyone on this board had the Bucks a shoo in to win the East.
Obviously that did not happen and those same fans ignore their previous miscalculations smuggly blaming everyone in sight for the mess that we all see.
I appreciate the collective frustration but it is hard to take seriously the chest pounding from fans who deemed the Antetokounmpo-Lillard pairing as unstoppable.

I hate the old and slow excuse. The primary issue isn't that we're old and slow, it's that our players don't know what the hell they're doing. Remember those stretches under Bud where we'd say "they just play so stupid sometimes?" Turns out that's our default playstyle.

I agree that Old teams are still better than this. I haven't watched a game this season, but it sounds like it's exactly where we left off last season, and I watched the majority of last season waiting for things to improve.
It got hard to watch at times. With the best buck player in history and an all time scorer in dame, it's strange that it was unwatchable at times. Like some of those Jason kidd days, just frustrating ball.

Your tirade against NBA fandom is funny considering NBA “EXPERTS” said and are saying the same things.

Re: PG Memphis - 1-4
I have identified Brook as a problem 5 years ago.
As the last dinosaur of the league , he forces our D to play DROP or get torched by layups and forces our offense to park guards at the wing or corner 3s since his game is at the logo 3 area.
We still play Bud's basketball cause of Brook. Our 2 7fters (Brook and Giannis) are mostly playing top of the key which devastating for our guards game.
